    • Too overpowered
Not for children or beginners. You're just going to crash it into a tree, it'll probably break, and then you're going to hate the RC hobby because of one bad experience. The truck is way too overpowered. The motor is so big compared to the vehicle that the motor torque causes the vehicle to pull to the right under hard (controlled) acceleration. You cannot give it full throttle from a dead stop because the sudden torque will cause it to veer off in an unpredictable direction, assuming it doesn't back flip instead... The brake is overpowered too, causing it to front flip when applied hard and suddenly. The short wheelbase makes controlling it at high speed difficult because most steering corrections will cause it to roll over, spin out or cartwheel. I really wanted to like this RC truck. The chassis looks well built and it did survive some bad rollovers at high speeds. The radio system loses signal at around 100 feet away so it's obvious they cut costs there. The battery for the truck itself gives you about 10 minutes of run time. For me that's very little but for the price I can't say it's horrible. Overall, I can't recommend it. A newbie will probably break it on their first day and be very disappointed. The reason I bought this truck was because replacement parts for this truck are available for sale online, and also because you can download and 3D print replacement parts from Thingiverse. hard time turn it left or right it roll to much at top speed we got speed up to 38 to small hand the speed great small truck maybe for speed like 30 or less

This 1/18 scale truck is an over-powered beast of an RC out of the box. It is really fun to drive, but it takes practice. The thing goes 40+ mph, so I wouldn't give it to a kid to play with. I would also avoid driving it in sand or water. The plastic shell body doesn't protect the motor, battery, or gear box from dust, sand or water. The bigger motor also eats up the included battery pretty quick. I would suggest buying a second battery if you want to extend your play time. ... show more

Been using the little truck for about a 2 week and I wouldn’t recommend buying an extra battery because if you do run it and wear down one battery and then put another I think it would burn out because the motor gets extremely hot I used my laser temperature gun and I read 245 off the motor. But I have to say it’s very fun and extremely fast for what it is it’s worth $100 ... show more

I received this rc car 4 days ago. On day 3 and only the 2nd time I had it out and running, the receiver caught on Fire! The receiver seemed to be faulty as the car would just take off down the road with no or extremely delayed input, and this was at no more than 10 feet. Highly dissatisfied and my kids cried as they watched their new toy burn up. I understand it's a cheaper entry level hobby car but this is quite ridiculous. Then 2 weeks after I ordered it, took long to ship to my location, the price was cut by 20 dollars. I hope the seller/company reaches out to me about this. Should have trusted the negative comments I previously read. ... show more
