I ordered this to teach my 3 year old time. The different colored hands help to easily identify which one you are talking about and the labeled minutes addressed the issue that had me go seek out a new clock when my 3 year old asked why it was 15 minutes when the hand was pointing to the 3. The clock runs without making any noise, not even a light tick, and has kept really good time over the month that we have had it. We set it to match our radio controlled clock and it has not lost or gained time. The only quibble I would have with this clock is that the time is not set by radio control. Overall, I'm very happy with the purchase. I as an adult who struggles with analog clocks, can read this clock confidently. It has also has helped teach my 3 year old and 4 year old nephew how to tell and understand time. So it's exceptional for all age ranges. The appearance and colors are bright, entertaining and easy to understand. Super cute clock for our homeschool area for my kids to learn to tell time. It is silent and they love the colors. It is super helpful for my 5 year old to see what time it is because it has the numbers all the way around for both hours and minutes. Ordered for daughters 4th grade classroom. Kids starting school year in about a month, so it hasn't been installed yet. It looks great and seems like it will be a nice addition to the class.
