He has a cabin out in the country so his home's overall style is minimal & simple. This is such a pretty dark navy & the diamond stitching makes a really nice detail without overpowering the look. I bought this particular set for colder weather months as the comforter is on the thicker, heavier side. It's very soft & squishy. By combining the pillowcases from both of the sets I purchased, he now has enough for all of his pillows & they all match! Bachelor types, amirite? Everything got an initial wash & dry according to instructions & there weren't any problems. Very little lint trap fuzz, nothing seemed to fade colorwise. While it's still cute but it's not true to it's color, mine is a more lighter pink than what's shown, I was expecting a darker pink. It's soft but I would've preferred a dusty pink or rose gold pink like shown & not bubble gum pink.

Great for my daughter's room. The sheets were surprisingly silky and, according to my daughter, very comfortable. The comforter is a nice weight -- not too heavy for our southwest summers. Price was good for 7 pieces!
