If you don't mind digital sounds in a choice of low, medium, or loud volume, then this is your doorbell. I found a tone that I didn't mind and I can hear it throughout our downstairs. I am delighted with my new doorbell. I'm kind of old and not a techie, so I thought I had to install the transmitter outside close to the receiver. Then my daughter-in-law arrived and moved the receiver inside to almost the middle of the house. It works great there and I can hear it quite well over most of the house. I would like to suggest more low-tone and louder rings. Most of us who are older cannot hear the high tones.
