I purchased for my classroom as an attention getter. There are different tone settings as well as volume. Simple to use. Plug in the wireless portion and put the included battery in the remote. That simple. Would recommend for sure.

this wireless doorbell is really handy. It is compact and easy to use. There are two different ways to attach the doorbell to the wall and they come with clear instructions. You can use the all weather proof adhesive provided or use the proper wall mounts with the screws. There is even a screwdriver
provided. You can never have enough extra tools laying around in your junk drawer. There are very detailed instructions on how to use it, but it is fairly simple. I went with the adhesive, and considering my two year old tried snatching it off the wall not three minutes after I put it on there, I am impressed. It stayed.There are only two buttons on the wall plug in. One is a simple sound adjustment button and can go quiet enough that I wont worry about my children waking up during nap time. There are 38 chimes to choose from. There are even some very popular culture songs in there as well. There were several classical and recognizable songs. There were the traditional rings for the doorbell as well, which is what I went with. Overall I am very pleased with this product.

Great addition to any house/apartment

This product is exactly what I needed. A lot of people come to the back of our house because of the way our house is set up. This wireless doorbell is loud enough for us to hear through the house. I like that it’s water resistant since we do have some cover but it’s possible it might get a little wet
. I love that I can change the sound of the doorbell. I am the type of person that gets bored easily and changes things around. I have found that I do have to lower the sound because it can get loud which is good for bigger houses. The other thing with this is it comes with EVERYTHING you might need. It comes with the screwdriver a batter and even a 3M so you can hang the doorbell anywhere and move it if needed. I can’t wait to play around with the sounds a bit more since there are so many to choose from. Highly recommend for people that have multiple entry places in their house or anyone who might live in an apartment building

"Plug and play” – Install battery into the sender (the one with the bell symbol). Install sender by your front door, or elsewhere. Plug receiver into AC wall socket. If you like the default volume and ring (a pleasant musical "ding-dong ding-dong"), then there is no additional setup needed. > If you
want to change the volume or ring, you just push buttons on the side of the receiver to cycle through the options. You can change the ring or the volume at any time. RECOMMENDATION -- Always choose the sets with extra senders --- because the extra sender is only about $1 more, which is cheaper than the included A23 battery that you'll eventually need to replace the old battery. If you have extra batteries, you can keep them in your refrigerator (NOT in the freezer) and they'll last for many years. If your sender becomes lost, damaged, or stolen, you'll have an extra. CONS > The sender is NOT really waterproof -- and so, should be installed in a dry or at least sheltered area, if possible. INSTALLATION/SETUP NOTES > Insert a small screwdriver tip into the slot in the bottom of the sender and twist to “pop-open” the sender case. Install battery. Unfortunately the orientation is not marked. The battery installs positive (+) to the left; negative (-) to the right (against the spring). >There is a “tray” which the sender clips into – but that’s really optional. You can install the sender (without the tray) directly on any smooth hard surface with the provided double-sided tape. Even when so installed, you can pry open the case to change the battery. If you want to install the sender on a rough surface (such as unpainted wood), or you want the sender to be mobile, then install the tray, and "pop" the sender into the tray. > There is no direct selection of radio channels. So, if you buy several senders and/or several senders the default is that all senders will cause all receivers to ring. There is a procedure to link individual receiver(s) with individual senders, to produce different rings (e.g., for the front door and for the back door). > Radio interference is a possibility. With my previous similar remote door chime, my computer would sometimes trigger the doorbell, for no apparent reason. So, it is best to install the receiver away from computers or other large electronics. > Beware that the distance over which the sender works depends on the battery strength. If the battery in your sender is old, it might work closeup, but might not work by your mailbox. >OTHER USES Pretty much ideal as a “caller” for a bedridden person etc. INCLUDED > Battery, double-sided tape, and small screwdriver for the purpose of opening the sender case.
