The android OS is able to update, google services are fully functional, you can log into youtube, and everything else just works. The media could not be loaded. I’ve been using this Wireless CarPlay/Android Auto adapter for a month now, and it’s a solid addition if your car doesn’t have built-in Wireless CarPlay. It does what it promises, though there are some quirks. The connection at startup can be a bit laggy, but once it’s up, the audio quality is excellent. The Android OS and Play Store integration is a cool concept, but the interface is sluggish to navigate, and downloads to the device are slow even with a strong internet connection. What I really love is the ability to play downloaded audio and video files directly from the device—it’s a great way to broaden your media options on the go. However, I’ve noticed that after extended use, there are significant delays with Google Maps on Android Auto. Very clunky . The mouse cursor will not let you scroll up or down. Always shows carplay even though I'm using android auto. Must have hotspot available. And no phone mirroring/ screen cast. Not for 2021 Lexus . Not sure about other years

It works but it sucks. Every time I get an alert on my phone, it turns off the music that you are listening to. That means every email or text or if you look at your phone, it turns off. I have experienced other adapters and never had this issue. Maybe it is me and I need to change something but others I have used were plug and play with no issues. I would not recommend this. Gave it 2 stars because it works as long as no alerts go off on the phone. ... show more

This unit works! It turns your regular carplay into wireless CarPlay. The way it works is interesting. It is essentially an Android transmitter device. I like all the extra apps such as Hulu & Netflix, although I am not sure I will use them too much. Pairing is easy and it pairs pretty quickly after you start your car. The only downside is I find it to be a bit laggy when changing songs or if you use Apple Music the lyrics don’t match up with the song exactly. ... show more
