These taste like a gummy candy with sugar grains and give a natural feeling of wakefulness and energy to my mornings. I stay away from caffeine in coffee or energy drinks because it reacts badly to my nervous system. As if I can't calm down and it would make my heart race like I've experienced something triggering a fight or flight response. I'm able to take these without those concerning roasted coffee bean caffeine side effects. I've learned that the green coffee bean extract has a different effect on me, similar to my favorite Starbucks refresher drink which I'd discovered also uses green coffee bean extract. Who knew how much unroasted coffee bean creates such a difference for someone like me? Hope this helps others who can't tolerate coffee but needs something for a pick me up. ... show more

I do like the gentle boost in energy and use their sleep gummies regularly (which are great!). But the taste is not good. It has a very bitter aftertaste. Best to chew quickly and wash it down with something to drink. As far as the effects, I am very caffeine sensitive, and can’t even drink caffeinated coffee. I’ve using two at a time like it says. I see no results. They taste horrible. They are super bitter. They are crunchy from all the sugary coating. I love pineapple flavored anything so I figured these would be fine. Big no for me. I had them on subscription to save money but canceled it.

I’ve been using Rise Up for a while now and love that they help me feel focused and energized with that jittery anxious feeling when I drink too much caffeine. Energy drinks are just too strong sometimes. I like that I can take Rise Up after lunch and they don’t keep me up at night. Maybe I’m going nuts haha, but I think the flavor has gotten better recently too! There used to be a slight bitter aftertaste (which I didn’t mind), but I don’t notice it anymore.
