I have tried several flavors of GFuel and this one is pretty sweet compared to some of the others I have tried. The "snow cone" flavor is reminiscent of the juice you drink at the bottom of a melting red/white/blue snow cone, so the flavor is spot on. The first time I mixed this, I put too much powder in my drink and found the sweetness to be a bit overwhelming. I cut back a little on the powder to dilute the flavor, now I thoroughly enjoy it. I prefer the taste of Sour Blue Chug Rug to this because, though the sour flavor doesn't necessarily stick out, the sweetness is dumbed down even at full strength. I would like to start off by stating that drinking this will not make you a badass at gaming, I suck. Moving past that, the gfuel brand is a huge kick off for gamers and people who enjoy playing on occasions. Flavors that g fuel have released have usually sponsored pro gamers or youtubers. So I would see a little bit of hype coming from the brand and using that as their sale point. Me personally I don't game very often. I work nights and usually need a burst of energy to get me through the last 6 hours of my shift. Coffee usually does the trick or highly caffeinated drink get me jittery. However, I came across this on a prime sale and purchased the snow cone flavor. Willing to try something new I was curious about the flavor and if it would do the job. I received the package in good shape not damaged. I loaded my shaker with 16oz of water and added a scoop of g fuel powder, note to customer there is a scoope inside tye container you just need to search. I began to shake the drink for about a minute hoping to not have clumps of powder ingested. After working out my arm I took a sip. I was surprised that it tasted like a snow cone but I would put the flavor taste as a red,white and blue rocket pop. I finished drinking and it gave me a little perk of energy that wasn't overwhelming. Now I did my research and I have seen statements of lead in the ingredients. Don't know if these statements are true or not but if you were to look at what other company's such as redbull, monster and rockstar put into their drinks then you will know that nothing is safe to consume. Imagine the air we breath or water we drink their are small traces of contaminated particles that go into our body. I picked this particular flavor because it was on sale during Prime day. I've been using this product as a cost effective and non-carbonated alternative to Red Bull/Monster/etc. Some of the flavors are insanely good, but I noticed this one requires a little more extra in the one scoop to get the flavor, which is like a watered down lemonade. Whatever, it still does the job! One heaping scoop to 20oz of water, and there's very little gritty residue at the bottom leftover like with Ghost brand. Unless it's on sale, I'd say pass on this and go for one of the stronger flavors, like the DBZ Strawberry Lychee, Pac-Man Cherry, or even the Sonic Peach Rings. ... show more

I just got this tub of G Fuel in today and it does taste very nice. I mixed it with a large cup of water and it did have a lemon/lime smell to it. The taste consisted of a bomb pop. I have also enjoyed that there wasn’t a prolonged aftertaste which I did get from the Blue Ice flavor. 140 mg of caffeine places it on the “lower strength” G Fuels however it is negligible due to the stronger mixes containing 150 mg of caffeine. I enjoy G Fuel because it tastes amazing, the powder doesn’t cake, the kick is consistent, it’s easy to drink, it’s low in calories, and there isn’t a horrendous caffeine crash. The price of a tub isn’t too exorbitant and 40 servings per tub can last you over one month if you take just one serving per day. If you use this for school or for work then it a low maintenance drink in regards to preparation as opposed to the traditional brewing a cup of coffee despite using a Keurig. It’s worth a try! This product tends to be marketed towards gamers and the ages of gamers vary greatly throughout the world. Proceed with caution because on G Fuel’s website it seems like this is marketed for teenagers and pre-teens. Teenagers shouldn’t be consuming this much caffeine on a daily basis as opposed to what adults are allotted each day. 140-150 mg of caffeine for a teenager is too much as most pediatric articles suggest that children and teens shouldn’t consume ANY caffeine because it can disrupt key brain development.
