The media could not be loaded. OK first of all I liked this product so much that I recommended it to three people who bought it! That says a lot. It is total ease-of-use because of its touchscreen quality. It is something you could teach anyone from someone who is in assisted living and doesn't know a lot about tech to probably a six-year-old could operate. The thing I love the most is you don't have to have a smart phone or computer in order to get this up and running. Once you plug it in it has a tutorial on the touchscreen and walks you through set up. There is also a manual, which I didn't really need. One of my friends, but she was a gift and I'm going to buy another as a gift. There's also a slot to upgrade another 32 GB of memory. Not only does it hold photos, but it will hold and play the sound of videos. With a touch of a screen you can hide a photo or video. All of settings are done from the touchscreen, so the user, for example your grandmother does not need to own a smart phone or tablet if you give her this. How does it work? Simple you tell your family and friends to download an app called Frameco and once they download the app you click on your touchscreen, the add friend button and provide your friend with this code. Your friends go back to their smart phone on the frame code app, and simply add the code. From there they are able to surprise you anytime by sending pictures or videos. Another great feature is, it is adjustable from portrait to landscape mode. It does all the work for you, so you don't have to edit your photos. Whether you want pictures of the family, pictures of nature, or even images of your favorite quotes.... you are just a few small features in the settings just shuffle and whatever order or random order you like. Another great tip for grandma is if a photo comes up that she does not like she simply tap the screen and an icon for hiding the photo comes up and she never asked to see that again! I love this and love the frameco photo app. It is so simple. It is going to be a definite on my list of giftable items. Again, I love the fact that you can give this to someone at a nursing home and they don't need to know very much about how to use it. Everything is touchscreen and there is no phone needed for them to receive pictures although the friends and family need a phone or tablet in order to download the frameco app and send the pictures. There are multiple ways you can hang this on the wall with the included spacers for wall hanging, or there is an adjustable kick stand where are you can look at it via portrait or landscape and simply said it on your table. ... show more

Bought this frame for my elderly mother to view pics of a recent bucket-list trip to Europe. I found the app relatively easy to use. What really makes this frame nice is its large size and touch screen. Yes, it does take a little work to get the images adjusted so heads aren’t cut off, etc., but that’s to be expected due to the differing aspect ratio from the photo itself. It’s a function of the size and would be problematic for any frame of this size, irrespective of brand. The frame is definitely large (a consideration for where the frame can be located), but the pics are easily seen across a room. I also purchased another brand that was at a similar price point but much smaller (10”) that I don’t like nearly as well. The YEMSD frame is nice b/c it can be oriented landscape or portrait (the smaller frame I purchased can only be oriented landscape). I found portrait takes up less table top space and works better for most pics. I also like the fact that each pic can be changed to “fill the frame” or not (where there are side areas with no image), as some photos are suitable for the full frame but some are not. Having the ability to add a caption to each photo is a nice feature. I started by adding a caption for all the photos in a group at once, then going back to edit individual photos to have a unique caption. I did pay for the app upgrade to be able to upload more photos at once. $17/yr is definitely worth it to me if it makes my mom happy. Note: I didn’t seem able to upload any videos before I upgraded to Frameo+, even though with just the free app I should be able to upload at least very short ones. I love this! Very nice design and though it smudges a bit easily its also easy to clean them off and no scratches so far. You can hang it or use the stand. The videos play about 15 seconds each and you can control the volume of each via setting or the touch screen. Its set to do a slideshow of all the photos and videos that are uploaded. Very easy to turn on and off and also add additional storage with an SD card slot on the back of the frame. The flashdrive slot, SD slot and others are designed facing down which I like that theyre not sticking straight out from the back of the frame. Overall great design and great frame. I have not experienced any issues yet but I do dislike that you can only upload one video at a time. Other than that it is very much worth the price in my opinion. I wouldn't mind if it came with a remote control either to easily program settings without the touchscreen or if you have company, to control it from a distance, to go back to a photo/video, etc. ... show more

This frame is so easy to use and the images are beautiful! The app has a free version and a paid upgrade. Just using the free version worked perfectly! You can upload multiple pictures at once. The paid version comes with the cloud for storage but it looks like you can save up to 40,000 pictures on the frame. I love that it gives a notification and a sound when it recieves new images. This is a gift for my dad who lives out of state and I can't wait to buy more for myself and my mom! ... show more
