I passed on the standard 'install below tv' direction (since I see those as two separate events/moods) and made a little nook. Hint for anyone with Alexa; ask her to play fireplace sounds. We could not be happier with this product. It was easy to install, looks great, functions great. It was one of the only ones I found in the size we needed that included both logs and crystals so you could use either display. Also, the dimensions are perfect, some of the LED fireplaces are too high and the flame only comes halfway up the display space. On this one the ratio is perfect. Highly recommended. ... show more

I was worried about going with an electric fireplace as opposed to paying for a real one but this certainly completed the space, saved us money, and we get many compliments on it. Looks great and I like the side lights, however, I have had this for about 5 months and it is making this really annoying deep clicking sound when it is on. I have this in my office where it is usually very quiet so that sound is very noticeable. I would recommend getting this if the area you want it for is normally noisy so you can't hear that clicking.
