We live in a century home. The bathroom has a pebbly, privacy glass exterior window and a door with a window that leads to what used to be an airing porch for blankets and rugs. We’ve turned the airing porch into my home office. For privacy we installed this window film on the office side of the door, leaving the bathroom side smooth, like the exterior window. It looks fantastic and is a near-match with the existing window. Installation on a vertical surface is challenging and took three tries to get it close to perfect, but it was worth the effort. Installation was easy with careful measuring and cutting. I like that I still have a sense of the outdoors through the film and it lets more light in than other films I’ve tried. The pattern can go either way and it hides air bubbles and small flaws. Looks like glass. I’m happy with it.

I love that it gives you privacy for windows or bathroom glass door. I hate how timely it is to locate the edge to separate film back from Frosty Window Film. The corners once cut doesn't adhere to corners. You have to reset or remove and do over. The video shows this being simple. No. Very timely. There has to be a better way. ... show more

Easy to install and provided exactly the needs we desired on a bathroom window set that faced the street on the second floor. Plenty of light coming through the window and perfect privacy provided by the window film. We had shutters that we kept closed all of the time to maintain privacy and the film allowed us to now enjoy the natural sunlight from the windows.     • REMOVE THE CLEAR BACKING

This window film is great...once you remove the clear backing. You can't see it or feel it, so use the provided sticker to try and peel it off. The problem is when you trim your piece but have leftover that you'd like to use for another window application. I tried to re-use the sticker, but without the super strong adhesive bond, it makes it really difficult. So, use your nail to curl the end and you'll see the clear film begin to separate from the window covering. Without removing this clear film, the cling will not stick to the window. So, if you're having trouble getting it to stick, you haven't removed the film. After that, use a ton of soapy water and the cling adheres nicely! ... show more

I like everything about it except in some areas it's not sticking to the glass. I cleaned the glass and misted with water and used a squeegee so it was installed properly. It stuck in some areas but not all. I have used many other window clings like this and have not had any problems with adhesion on them. I would guess it might be that the back is not really smooth, it's quite rough. ... show more

I ordered this due to larger size after installing a similar product that I purchased at Home Depot. This film seemed to be identical with the exception of no backing to peel off. That is where the similarities end. I followed instructions to the letter but the film would not cling to the window pane. I even tried to warm the water but after 2 minutes, the corner peeled and the entire piece fell off the window. I then tried on another window with the same result. I ended up throwing away the remaining roll. Not seeking a refund and just chalking this up to experience and hope that this saves someone else from making a poor purchase decision. ... show more
