The acoustic foam panels appear to the provide sound-proofing they promise. They arrived well-packaged. For a studio dedicated to sound-recording, they would probably serve well. As we were looking for residential use, we hoped for higher aesthetic quality; these panels fell short of that mark.

I wish I had other choices for WHITE acoustic tiles on Amazon because these were crazy expensive to complete ONLY 1/4 of the project I had in mind. DARKER COLORS are cheaper and plentiful from other vendors but not White... I couldn't tell you if they were effective because it only covered 1/4 of the space for too much $. ... show more

Comes with double sided tape, basically everything you need to install out of the box. The main reason I went with these was because it came in white to blend in with ceiling color and hopefully it helps with reverb/resonations. just as you expect. but white, and you supply the adhesion..I recommend velcro dots or similiar... I put sound proofing floor pad for laminate floors on the wall b4 I put these up.

Might be user error but it is very hard to stick these up. I tried 2 different types of adhesive strips and ended up having to use tacks in the end.
