This vocal booth works perfectly for the application that I need it for. I'm a freelance recording engineer with many years of experience. I will be offering clients personalized mobile services at their homes in the near future. I must be clear that its not 100% soundproof BUT it blocks most of the natural reverb created from space in any room. I've tested a session with myself using a Rode NT1-A condenser microphone that has a very low-noise rating. I also used a mic isolation box seen in the photo. It obviously makes sense to be strategic in where you chose to assemble & place this booth in any recording environment. Do your best to quiet any noises in & around the room while recording your source to get the most out this booth. The "effect" of isolation will be much greater. The isolation blankets are heavy, durable, fit well and easy to hang. The entire assembly is pretty simple as well. I'm more than satisfied & confident that this product will meet my audio service needs to my clients. Its well worth the value for this price! ... show more

I LOVE my booth. As a professional VO actor I use it for Auditioning and for professional recording sessions constantly, and it has been fantastic for delivering clean, crisp vocals and removing any echo. I'd honesty consider upgrading to the larger one for more space in the booth - especially for remote sessions when I have my laptop in the booth. But externally this size is great for our space, fitting perfectly into the studio. Customer service at Snap Studio is also excellent! I had a spillage in my booth and my washing machine chewed up the curtain a little - compromising it for hanging (it is machine washable on cold only - I think I got super unlucky). However, I reached out to Snap Studio and they took great care of me, even though I purchased from Amazon originally. Instead they sent me back up curtains and a floor mat free of charge, when they absolutely could have and probably should have charged me for that! ... show more

Innovative product that really helps recording and space constraints. The product itself is cool and functioning perfectly. The second piece to this is customer service. I had some minor hang ups on with the bands and roof but customer service was beyond reasonable and helpful when I reached out. You just don’t get that nowadays. UPDATE #2: Got the new blankets, the sewing was much better. I will say the customer service is top notch even though they outsource to China. The booth itself performs flawlessly for cutting reflections/reverb and it is small enough to fit in the corner of a room. Overall happy with the interaction. Update: They refunded me and are sending me new blankets while allowing me to keep the current ones. The sound quality is excellent as is the customer service. I just received this, one strap separated just from the pressure of trying to open the velcro and others are very poorly attached. I have sent an email to the company requesting an exchange. We shall see what happens but I am very, very angry about this. Why is there no hardware attaching the straps, or stitching all around the perimeter of the strap instead of in the middle? A novice at sewing would know better than this and the thread is hardly thick enough to hold the weight. The blankets, floor pad and top are made very well but the frame wobbles quite a bit as if it's not stable enough to hold the weight. For what I paid, the construction of the frame and straps is subpar at best. I did this so I would NOT have to source things from multiple places and spend extra time assembling. And now I need to waste time doing an exchange. Not pleased. ... show more

This is easy to assemble, and does block all ambient sound. It even came with a handwritten card from the makers. The only thing was the LED light was a little on the cheap side, but they cost $5 , so it's no big deal. I would recommend it to anyone that wants a simple solution for home recording. - I took less than a week to reach me in South Korea. Great stuff. ... show more

This vocal booth is by far the most professional and superior out of all the other competitors I've seen. All materials from the duffel bag to the thick PVC and blankets are all of high quality and very well thought out. The instructions were very easy to follow during assembly which was less than 10 mins. Once assembled I felt a huge difference when singing outside and then inside the booth. My recorded vocals inside the booth were amazing, clean and powerful unlike before. I don't know how I got along without this for so long. I love my new booth and this company.I can tell Snap studio really cares about their customers and their products. I also really liked their inspiring message on their thank you card. Thank you for making such an outstanding product that's also portable. Oh, and before I forget... The phone/tablet holder and USB rechargeable light bulb are a very nice touch as well..I have no complaints. ... show more
