This vocal booth works perfectly for the application that I need it for. I'm a freelance recording engineer with many years of experience. I will be offering clients personalized mobile services at their homes in the near future. I must be clear that its not 100% soundproof BUT it blocks most of the natural reverb created from space in any room. I've tested a session with myself using a Rode NT1-A condenser microphone that has a very low-noise rating. I also used a mic isolation box seen in the photo. It obviously makes sense to be strategic in where you chose to assemble & place this booth in any recording environment. Do your best to quiet any noises in & around the room while recording your source to get the most out this booth. The "effect" of isolation will be much greater. The isolation blankets are heavy, durable, fit well and easy to hang. The entire assembly is pretty simple as well. I'm more than satisfied & confident that this product will meet my audio service needs to my clients. Its well worth the value for this price! ... show more

I got this sound booth put together and I just started using it today and it's PERFECT! I used a Chaotica ball over my mic hoping it would work going the really cheap route, but to do voice overs professionally you have to block 95% of the noise. A Chaotica ball just won't do it; they advertise that a Chaotica ball will block out 70% of the noise but you need a heck of a lot more blocking than that for it to work! This sound booth doesn't block every bit of noise but sure blocks a heck of a lot of it. I am starting to work with companies as a voice over talent and naturally these companies notice ANY background noise, and that's not good. I had to spend more money than what I wanted to, but it works! This sound booth makes a HUGE difference! Glad I bought it. The only cumbersome part is moving in and out of the booth to start and stop my recordings but whatever works, right? ... show more

This is easy to assemble, and does block all ambient sound. It even came with a handwritten card from the makers. The only thing was the LED light was a little on the cheap side, but they cost $5 , so it's no big deal. I would recommend it to anyone that wants a simple solution for home recording. - I took less than a week to reach me in South Korea. Great stuff. ... show more

Innovative product that really helps recording and space constraints. The product itself is cool and functioning perfectly. The second piece to this is customer service. I had some minor hang ups on with the bands and roof but customer service was beyond reasonable and helpful when I reached out. You just don’t get that nowadays. I even appreciate the instruction manuals and lightning that is included, which other competitors don't provide. For me, it's all in the details. The Good: It's nice to have this all together as a kit for those of us who are too lazy or don't own transportation to go shopping around for PVC and building a frame and whatnot. The assembly is pretty simple and I was able to do it myself in a small space. The reverb inside the booth is a great improvement over the environment of my untreated room w/ hardwood floors. If you want, you can probably add an additional blanket or perhaps add foam inside for an even better sound. The Bad: The hanging light is quite useless and absolute trash. They should have just not included it and shaved the cost off of the price OR include a decent light and bump the price up a little (another $20 wouldn't hurt for saving the hassle of having to find your own lighting solution). I even tried using the light while keeping it plugged into an outlet and for some reason it can't work like that (has to charge up). Barely holds any charge and even fully charged it's not very bright. The other thing is the workmanship on the blankets was a little rough. I noticed on one of the blankets I received the velcro strap got "caught" in the top-stitching and so was shorter/tighter than the other ones. Doesn't stop it from being usable but clearly wasn't inspected before shipping out. Would also be kinda nice if there was some kind of velcro closure to keep the entrance "flap" closed. Device holder included is OK though it also seems a bit on the cheap side. ... show more

I LOVE my booth. As a professional VO actor I use it for Auditioning and for professional recording sessions constantly, and it has been fantastic for delivering clean, crisp vocals and removing any echo. I'd honesty consider upgrading to the larger one for more space in the booth - especially for remote sessions when I have my laptop in the booth. But externally this size is great for our space, fitting perfectly into the studio. Customer service at Snap Studio is also excellent! I had a spillage in my booth and my washing machine chewed up the curtain a little - compromising it for hanging (it is machine washable on cold only - I think I got super unlucky). However, I reached out to Snap Studio and they took great care of me, even though I purchased from Amazon originally. Instead they sent me back up curtains and a floor mat free of charge, when they absolutely could have and probably should have charged me for that! ... show more
