Works really well and cools the room down significantly more than I expected it to, even on dry mode. Only issue was because I got this used, the window slider was cracked from the hole to the edge and no foam piece came with it but it still works great. The crack doesn't even let much air out because the window holds the crack down in place. Only issue is that my window is so small (read narrow) that I couldn't use the other part of the slider because it would've blocked the vent hole and so I had to cut a little piece of foam insulation to put next to the slider piece. Annoying that you have to drain it every so often but that's standard of all portable air conditioner units. Really does cool down way more than I thought it would. ... show more

Used this all summer and just put it up. Worked well for my garage studio. Took sometime to get it working right but then super easy to use. Has a remote but just as easy to turn on with control panel on the front.

We don't use the remote control, so I could not rate that feature. Overall, it does the job, but it is a bit noisy. The coil that exhausts out the window is not the best insulated material and the coil is hotter than I would expect. My other units by Honeywell are cooler to the touch.

I have been trying to file a review on this product since October 2023. It kept saying it would but it never appeared here. I know how to submit these reviews, I have been submitting these reviews for years. They didn't want me to tell the customers how inconvenient it is. After I purchased the product, I came on the review site and the exact same thing I am again saying was said about the product by a verified customer. The drain is at the very bottom of the unit. The flimsy hose leaks. It will not operate if there is water in the tanks (two separate drains). No lie, if you run this unit over night, it will produce five gallon of water. I am a senior citizen, I couldn't life the unit higher enough to put a five gallon bucket under it. I am constantly on my knees dragging the pan out and emptying it. What a mess! At night I run the fan until the heat wakes me up. I bought this unit because I didn't want a window unit to tempt someone from stealing my window unit. I am paying someone this weekend to put my window unit back in the window. Winter isn't no better. The air is always very dry. I have two houses, when I am here with this Menace To Society, my skin is dry and ages. I am constantly using moisturizer, at my other home, the window unit produces moisture and my skin is nice and hydrated. I pray this review is posted. ... show more
