Description

The Wheeler Engineering Ultra Scope Mounting Kit has all of the tools to meet your professional scope mounting needs. This kit has everything needed to do a professional job mounting your scope. With 9 bits and 1 socket, the FAT (Firearm Accurizing Torque) Wrench is used to apply precise inch-lb. pressure on all of your screws. The kit also includes the Professional Reticle Leveling System to make sure the scope is level and your crosshairs are perfectly perpendicular. The Professional Laser Bore Sighter aligns your crosshairs and gets you on paper faster. The kit comes with a lens pen as well as thread locker so your screws won't work their way loose.

This is a great kit and has everything you need. The torque tool is awesome. Everything works well. My only complaint is that the red laser should be green. I didn't realize when I ordered it but you need to set the target at about 25 feet maximum in clear sky sunny conditions or you can't see against the target.     • Perfect Scope Mounting system.
Helps get you closer to zero saving money at the range and these days, we can use a little savings. I like that it is easy to use. You get your scope on the rifle and it will be perfectly level. The green laser works really well.

Great kit for mounting your scope. The torque screwdriver takes some getting used to as it will click once it hits the torque spec, but you need to keep turning until it click a second time in order to reset it. Also, I wish it include a T-25 Torx bit instead of just the smaller two that it comes with. For some rings/rails, you may also need a T-25. ... show more

    • great set, but needs another screw bit added!
Note: If you plan on putting a scope on a Henry Big Boy X Lever action rifle. This kit doesn't have the right bit to take out the top screws to mount the rail.

    • Bore Sighter
The bore sighter failed during the first unit, the laser light went out. I contacted Wheeler with an email and explained the issue and sent in a couple of pictures of the failed bore sighter. They immediately shipped me a new one. The replacement bore sighter works perfect and the laser is very bright. In low situations I can easily use it at 70 yards, perhaps even further. It gets me on paper no problem at 50 yard with minor adjustments to zero after. Highly recommended product and customer service. ... show more

    • Fantastic set if you are just starting out
Thankfully I was just starting out with purchases from wheeler/amazon for guns sighting and aiming. If you are going to mount a scope which I was then this is the best kit to buy because as usual the best deal was that way. The kit has the torque wrench that is $50, the GREEN laser $120 and that was just about the price of the entire kit plus you get the much needed reticle leveling set for mounting scopes that is like $42 all in a rather cheap plastic case (ok so the case was not quality). The green laser and the provided reflective target as a pair are simply outstanding. You can quickly find the reflective and within minutes be pretty much on paper before final adjustments. I have 4 different AR guns and it was fun to be able to transfer my scopes (yes I have quick mounts also) from one gun to the next. It also show you how well the gun manufacture has done with the machining the picatinny rails to the barrel etc. My LMT AR-10 was so spot on after set up it needed no adjustments. ... show more

Not only was the price right, the shipping lightning fast but the product itself was just what I hoped for. I have always had issues in the past with sighting in a new scope. This kit has everything in to make the job so much easier and faster. As long as you have a good set of rings and a solid mount you will be on target fast. Just read the instructions, and take the time to follow them. I mounted three optics yesterday, went to the range this morning and was dialed in in less then 5 shoots each. Wheeler Engineering also make a Scope Mounting Kit which aligns and bore matches the rings to each optic. ... show more
