I bought this Range Finder to use while target practicing and hunting. I took it to work and tested it shooting traffic signs at various distances. I was impressed at the long distances I was able to shoot. Granted traffic signs are retoreflective, and not like what you would shoot while hunting, I was still impressed. I would shoot a sign, convert yards to feet, then use my truck mounted GPS Distance Measuring Instrument (DMI) to measure to the target. Many of the signs were not on an exact tangent and error was a constant due to me having to follow the slight curves in the road. I shot the following Yards/Converted feet/Measured feet: 792/2376/2375, 967/2901/2889, 1204/3612/3605, 1428/4284/4227. I was very impressed with the two long distances both passing the units claimed extent. The unit is easy to use and is everything I expected. The only downfall would be backlight and inability to be able to see the display in low light conditions. I would highly recommend this unit for it's accuracy and ease of operation. It came very well packed in a really nice box, a camo carrying case, long lanyard, cleaning clothe and a battery. Great Product for a good price. ... show more

This is very nice product. Accurate, light weight and great value for the money. I'm a seasoned hunter with many range finders bought. I got tired of the high end products that are complicated, easily break or malfunction in the field and are so complex you need an engineering degree to operate. BTW...I do have a degree but all I want is to range a deer, turkey or target. This product does it and does it well with angle compensation if I'm bow hunting from a ladder stand. It would have been nice to have a glow reticle and readout, but I can live without that. Highly recommend. ... show more

I had no idea this range finder was as sharp, accurate and easy to use. This item had come in while we were leaving our home (headed out to eat), so I tossed it in the truck. I was pretty curious so I Ieft the wife at the dinner table and went out to the parking lot to try these out. Within a few minutes I was registering items over 700 yards away. This rangefinder is crystal clear and very bright. The price is perfect and it came in a tree-camo carry case, very solid and nice. Gotta love the elevation/downhill/uphill/straight on measurements as well. One more thing, the container this item is packed in virtually ensures the item will arrive undamaged. This was great product for the price. I compared it to my Vortex Range Finder and it appears to work as described. It is a bit bulky when compared to my Vortex. But my wife wanted a decent range finder for hunting, but didn’t want something to expensive in case it got lost or damaged. It is still going strong. Highly recommend to beginner hunters or golfers needing a range finder. ... show more

This thing is awesome! Got it to help with hunting. A little scan of the instructions and a little common sense and bam! It works great. My daughter throws a javelin and I made a stake to place at the landing and it is extremely accurate! No more pulling a tape out for it. Friends have a digital laser that cost nearly $2,000 and this thing was right on the same measurement. Of course I had it on a tripod and a camera holder. Same thing to hold my gun when shooting and it worked flawlessly! Very well worth it, not sure how the other guys are breaking theirs cause mine is constantly being moved around in my hunting bag but never broke. I normally dont write these things but this product truly surprised me. After losing my bushnell yardage pro that I have hunted with for many years, I decided to get a new one. Hoping to find my old one I was looking for something less expensive. I found one or two reviews of this one and it seemed to be well liked. I got the H1200T model. There were others like it that had shorter max range but for the money, this seemed like the one I needed. The only question was if it would truly range that far. So I took it out on the opening of deer hunting in MN and found a grain silo in the distance. It locked on and gave me a result that appeared correct. Did it a couple more times and it was always within a yard or two. Verified later with a buddy's unit that it was correct. I like the 25mm objective lens for low light shooting and the 6 power is perfect. I also love how light and easy to use it is. It came with a nice hard camo case to match the camo color on the unit. I also love the Hunter mode that compensates for arrow drop when shooting from above or below the target. Even though the brand is not well know (by me at least) I am extremely pleased with it so far. ... show more
