It's PERFECT for archery, last rangefinder you'll buy. I wanted an illuminated screen and I'm honest to God baffled that this was only $114??!!! The 'amr' mode is specifically for archery. Get what you pay for. Figured the Sig name would be reputable but this thing feels cheap and shipped with a dead battery or the hint just doesn’t work. Don’t know don’t care but I’m not wasting time going to try to find a replacement cr2 battery.

I purchased two of these, one for myself and one for my son. Pro's-easy to see red LED screen, focus aperture, comfortable grip, continuous scan mode, great profile that slides into my range finder pouch very easily. I was able to scan out to 650 yds with ease. Very good in low light situations and on unusual angles (for instance where two hills intersect that have varying distances).
