This is a nice toaster. Only reason for not giving 5 stars is that I have no clue as to longevity or durability (I've had it about a week). Creates nice, evenly toasted slices. There is a tactile and audible click with each stop on the darkness selector. Crumb tray slides out (of the back) for cleaning, no trap door at the bottom. Outer surfaces are stainless steel, which is nice for cleaning but will get hot during use. And the more toast you make, the hotter it will get. After 8-10 slices, it will be HOT! If doing 2-4 slices, it's really not an issue. A great feature is the button you push to only toast one side. Good for bagels but great for hamburger buns. There is also a defrost function which I haven't used. It won't talk to your cell phone, refrigerator, or otherwise get involved in the "internet of things". It just makes toast, but does it very well. ... show more

Just got this today. So these are initial impressions, will update after some miles again: 1. Good:Very good looking, looks well built 2. Bad: First toast was burnt, may need some tinkering with the options to get the perfect toast 3. Ugly: Despite the looks it's feels cheap. I couldn't pull the leverage down without toppling over the toaster! It's very very light. Overall, it's about worth no more than 45 bucks, please do not pay anything close to the claimed MSRP! ... show more
