I bought one for my parents a couple of years ago and it was a hit! They have loved it! It has worked great. This year I decided to get one for myself. Just past my 60 day return window, however, the middle elements stopped working. No matter the setting, it is only the other elements that come on. Meaning I have to toast things twice??? I reached out to Revolution store here, and never heard back. Waste of money. I’m going to keep trying to get ahold of them. Three stars because my parents had a 5-star experience and I had a 1-star experience. UPDATE: Revolution replaced it and the new one is functioning as it should!!! Yay! Love it once more. I use this toaster every day. The touchscreen is super easy to use and navigate and I love all the options it has for light to dark functions based on what I am trying to heat up or toast. The panini toaster press works great (just don't overload the contents of your panini or the press won't close completely). The clock and light functions on the unit are a plus, as well as the alert that pops up when the crumb tray needs to be emptied. Toasts in half the time of my regular toaster. I bought this on prime day because my daughter uses the toaster so OFTEN, so I knew she would love this. The big digital screen, picking what you are toasting and how toasty you want it. It came in and I was so excited! I plugged it up to use it, and the heating element didn’t work at all. Frustrated, but sometimes you get a lemon, so i figured I would get a replacement and try again. Replacement came in and I tried it out first thing. Worked great. Wonderful! I set the time on it and continued on. That’s where the next problem started. It does NOT hold time. You set the time and it never keeps up. By a week later, it was off by 15 minutes. I put the time back on, and it wasn’t a few days later that it was back off again. Ugh, ok, still keeping it because I didn’t get it to tell time. Well, then, I was going to make my daughter a bagel and I put it in. Bagel goes down, and what do you know but the heating element does not work again. This time I realize that it’s not a random Incident, but just really bad manufacturing and not worth anywhere near the $300 price tag. Looks wise, it looks cool and I got a compliment on it, but functionality wise, STAY AWAY. This product is not worth the money and I hate to say it’s junk, but it’s junk. We got our toaster and found all the features to be surprising. My Family loves to use it for all kinds of foods and the press is great for making toasted sandwiches. We had an issue with a non responsive screen, contacted customer service and got a real person and was walked through the trouble shooting process. I have a revolution toaster & love it. However it is 5 years old and I need a new one so I ordered this R180B from amazon and my invoice even says NEW. However - the one I received was NOT in original packaging but instead in a bag from a different company and it is absolutely USED. I called Revolution & they said their new ones come in new boxes, so I ordered directly from them. They said that Amazon is going to start a "refurbished" sale but that has not started yet - I wonder if amazon accidentally sent a used one that is meant for this new program. If you order this toaster (which is great) be sure you receive a NEW one in a revolution box and new packaging. ... show more
