I was looking for a BT receiver to fit in a 3" gauge opening but with a screen. I wanted a unit that would not fog up after and would live up to the IPX6 rating. This will replace a basic stock unit on my new boat. Nice feature of this unit is that it charges through the USB port input and I am hopeful that future upgrades will add Spotify control to the head unit.
