I have super fine, pin straight hair and I’m 51, so it may be getting finer as I age or it could all be in my mind, not sure. That said, I’m always looking for the best products for my hair type. I purchased this to use as a hair straightening tool, for my curly/wavy hair. It worked pretty good, but is larger than I would prefer, since I have thinner hair, and will take some practice and getting used to.

I bought this round Wet hairbrush after using the original style for a couple years. Both of my girls and I each have the original and love them but I wanted a round version to blow dry and style with. Seems to be very heat resistant. I haven't had any issues with the bristles yet, however the finish on the handle grip is flaking off. I know this is the finish not any product residue because I ran out of hair spray and hadn't used it or any other styling products after receiving this brush. I've only had it about 8-9 weeks and it started peeling after just a couple weeks. Supposedly the bristles have keratin but I haven't noticed any difference in results between this and the original. I do love how it doesn't get tangled in my hair like other round brushes. It's perfect for fine hair. ... show more

With thick, course hair, you really are hard-pressed to find a round brush that doesn't make you grimace and wince whenever you dry your hair. I've tried multiple round brushes and was never satisfied, as I'd end up with tangles, knots and suffered a lot of pain - and all I wanted to do was dry and style my hair. Decided to try this Wet brush, since it's listed as being designed for thick to coarse hair. Voila! Quick drying, no pulls and snags, no tangles! I am SO impressed. It is on the larger side, with a diameter of approximately 3 1/2 inches. It's also a bit heavier than other similarly-sized brushes that I own (all of which, by the way, sit in a drawer because I abhor using them). People need to be aware of its size and increased weight because if you do have a lot of hair and it takes you a while to dry, your arm can get a little tired. However, I have found that this brush enables me to dry my hair much more quickly, so weight has not been a factor for me. A great brush that I recommend for anyone with a thick head of hair who likes to use a round brush to dry and style. ... show more
