It's take abuse (dropping it in the shower) and just came back from a lost luggage adventure when it was in the outside pocket of a suitcase, so I'll give it a pass on snapping after a year of constant use. I use it to gently brush in conditioner and detangler my long wavy hair in the shower, plus I like the scalp massage. I like being able to hang it up; that seems to stop other people from "tidying" it into a drawer where I can't find it. Bonus: it's translucent purple with sparkles. It broke this afternoon, prompting me to get online and order another immediately. This is my second round of buying these brushes. They work great on tangles and long hair...they go right through the nest of tangles! No pain and no tears. Very flexible and work on any hair type.     • Best Hair Detangling Solution Ever!
This is my second brush. It easily and painlessly takes the tangled out of my hair. I do it as I’m rinsing the conditioner out of my hair, the last step before I get out of the shower. I then grab my long hair and twist out the excess water so I don’t rectangle it. Last step, Pop on a hair turban to dry it a bit. No pulling or tugging or tangled when i take the turban off to dress my hair. In the long term this means WAY less split ends! I may buy another just have a reserve in case they stop making them!! Only criticism: it is not a robust handle. Could be a bit sturdier. But love the hook so I can hang it up. ... show more

Okay. So I get it says shower brush. And here I was thinking I could use it AFTER I washed my hair but before I dried it. No. Just no. This thing ripped hairs from my head I didn't know I had. I'm pretty sure, by the time I was done, there were at least 25 hairs from next month in this thing. It was like a porcupine climbed up in your hair and rolled. I was questioning all life decisions. And I was alone in the shower so.... there was a lot to think about. And when it was done I had enough hair in the brush I could have knit a scarf but A) I don't knit and B) human hair scarves seem like they should be frowned upon. So there's that. To give the brush a fair shake I used it again, this time with conditioner in my hair. Now, if you're one of those people that uses a pea or quarter sized dob on conditioner and have hair halfway down your back, no. Don't do it. If you're not caught up in the "recommended amount of conditioner" and are down to turning your hair in to a slip n slide of sorts. This brush may be for you. If not..... Remember that guy in the Charlie's Angels remake that never says a word but comes around and snatches clumps of hair out of people's heads? Yeah. Using this is kind of like showering with him. And, I mean, I'm not here to link shame, just review a brush. If you're in to that, go for it. If you're not, there are other brushes by this company that do a much better job. Like the one with boars hair. Only problem with that is my daughter's dog really digs boars hair..... But that's a while separate review and potential vet bill so..... Now, to be fair, my husband loves the brush. I think mainly because, since it lives in the shower, it's always easy to find. So it's got that going for it. And since his hair is about 2" long, it goes through his like butter. ... show more

    • GREAT FOR LONG HAIR TANGLES IN THE SHOWER
We use this on my granddaughters hair in the shower after she conditions. It is the best thing my daughter has found to get the tangles out of very thick long hair. So important for granddaughter to have they always travel with it. Try is if you have someone with super thick hair that gets tangled.

    • Great for in the shower
I bought this after seeing a hair tutorial video in which the creator said she uses this to brush her conditioner through her hair in the shower. I usually use a wide-tooth comb for this, but it always falls off its designated ledge in the shower and MANY of the teeth have broken off over the past couple years from getting stuck in my long tangled hair, so it was definitely time to try something new. I already have a regular wet brush that I love to use after my shower, so I had high hopes for this. The bristles are very bendy just like any other wet brush, but with this style, the brush itself is also flexible! It's also great that it has a built-in hook and is big enough to get a good grip so no more falling slick conditioner comb! Highly recommend this brush! ... show more
