  • Fantastic Pressure Washer - Built to Perform!
Style: Undercarriage Cleaner/Water Broom
I got the Westinghouse WPX3400 for my husband as a Christmas gift, and it's been a hit. He found the assembly straightforward, and the build quality is solid and durable. With 3400 PSI, it's perfect for tough cleaning jobs like driveways, decks, and siding. It removed years of grime quickly and effectively. My husband also loves how easy it is to start with the reliable recoil start, and the variety of included nozzles makes it versatile for different tasks. Overall, the pressure washer has exceeded our expectations. It's powerful, efficient, and built to last. We highly recommend it to anyone in need of a reliable and effective cleaning solution! ... show more

  • Excellent product and even better customer service.
Style: Undercarriage Cleaner/Water Broom
I hardly ever leave a 5star review as nothing is this world is perfect. A great item for me is usually 4 stars at best. I bought the Westinghouse WPX3400 Gas Pressure Washer and received it in a timely manner. Set up and directions were simple, and the unit looks good and is easy to roll around my 2-acre property. The unit has unbelievable pressure and is the best power washer that I have ever owned - and I have owned several over the years. The motor starts really easy every time, and my wife can even get it started. I used the power washer a couple of times and noticed a small oil leak from around the rear pump area. I took a couple pics and sent them to Westinghouse support, describing the situation. They stated that it was the seal on the inside of pump, and without any further questions or hassle they shipped me another pump (Pump was easy to install - 4 bolts - and I told them I could do it myself). The second pump arrived, and the box had been damaged by USPS in shipping. I contacted Westinghouse again, and before I knew it I had another pump at my house. Super impressed with their response and handling. It is expected that when dealing with mechanical items, issues may happen - I am well aware of that and do not fault Westinghouse for a bad seal on the pump. I do, however, expect a company to stand behind the product that I spend my hard-earned money on - and Westinghouse exceeded my expectations in doing so. Well done Westinghouse, and thanks for actually caring about the people you serve! ... show more

  • Excellent Build Quality and Great Design & Performance
Style: 4400 Max PSI
I borrowed a neighbor's 15" Surface Cleaner last year for my concrete driveway using my Dewalt 3600 PSI Pressure Washer. It worked well enough to convince me to get one of my own. His was ABS Plastic, no wheels and a bit flimsy, but this one is heavy duty, 4 well functioning wheels, aluminum with a stiff skirt and two additional extension wands, of which I used only one. It was a pleasure to use, cleaned well with a minimum of passes for the tough grim and stains, but very easy to control. I spent 4 hours cleaning a flat garage roof, cement driveways and walkways and was not the least bit worn out, which is saying a lot for a 70 year old man. BTW - the unit looks brand new after that workout, not showing a bit of wear or tear. Highly recommended. ... show more

  • Great Pressure Washer with Design Flaws
Style: Undercarriage Cleaner/Water Broom
This pressure washer does a great job of cleaning but there are a couple of irritating design flaws. #1) The supply hose when connected sticks straight out and lays on top of one of the wheels which is only a short distance away. As with any pressure washer it vibrates and with the hose laying on top of the wheel it rubbed a hole in the supply hose. At first I thought the hole might have been caused by heat from being too close to the muffler which other owners had mentioned in their reviews. However, it didn't seem to get that close to it and my supply hose has been around for a while and thought it just might have been from wear. I cut off the damaged end and put on a new male hose repair end and went to work. Very shortly after, maybe 20 minutes into washing, it sprung another leak at the same place. I cut off the end and put on another male hose end but this time took a bungee cord and wrapped it around both the supply hose and high pressure hose and pulled them upward and off the wheel and have had no more holes being rubbed in the hose by the vibration of the hose on the wheel. #2) The oil drain plug is situated over the plate at the bottom of the motor so when you remove the plug to drain the oil it runs all over the plate unless you can find a very thin pan to put under it to catch the oil. I happened to have a plastic paint tray liner and the short end was only about an inch high so was able to squeeze it under the engine between the engine and the bottom plate and catch the oil but had to stand and hold the tray while it drained. I took the drain plug to both Home Depot and Lowes looking for a 3 or 4 inch nipple to screw into the drain hole so it would drain out beyond the bottom plate, only to find out that that the plug is smaller than a 1/4" nipple and there were no nipples available in that small of a size. It seems to be a metric size, M10X1.25, and if I can find one at a plumbing supply house I have no doubt the inside diameter will be quite small so it will take a little while longer to drain the oil. A larger opening with a standard thread would make it easy to fit in a nipple with a cap on the end to drain the oil without making a mess. #3) When I got the pressure washer it came with a bottle of oil and a screw on pointed cap with a hole in it to fit into the oil fill hole at a slight angle so you could see when it was getting full. When I went to change the oil after the first 5 hours of use as stated in the manual I found that the little fill cap with the hole doesn't fit on a one quart bottle of synthetic oil that I bought at the NAPA store down the street. It's not that the threads are different, the cap itself is too small to fit on the one quart bottle. I wound up using a funnel but couldn't see when it was getting full, and since the engine doesn't take quite a quart of oil, it overflowed and ran under the engine onto the plate the engine is mounted to. Fortunately the space is about an inch high and I could squeeze some paper towels in the space to absorb and clean the oil and I had to remove the drain plug and drain some of the new oil back out so it would be overfilled. All in all, changing the oil would have taken about 10 minutes on my old pressure washer but not counting the trip to Lowes and Home Depot looking for a nipple to fit took over a half an hour because of the need to drain some oil back out and clean up the overflow. The trip to the two places took over an hour and I came back without a nipple for draining the oil. I'm not sure if I'll be able to find the right size or not but if not I know what to expect the next time I change the oil. #4) Selling a pressure washer with only a 25' pressure hose is a bit ridiculous, although I found that this now common on other brands as well, not just Westinghouse. Years ago when I first needed to use a pressure washer I rented one which came with a pretty long pressure hose and did the job well. When I bought my own pressure washer, a Ridgid from Home Depot, it came with a 30' hose which meant that I often had to stop and move the machine. When I bought this one I decided to buy a 50' hose and am glad I did and would recommend them. While some of the high pressure hoses that are sold at Home Depot or Lowes can run over $100 for a 3/8" X 50' hose, I bought this one at Amazon for $47.99 plus tax. It's very heavy duty and well made and I'm very happy with it. Now, aside from my complaints listed above, this Westinghouse WPX3400 is an animal and I'm very happy with the job that it does. In addition, it only weighs a bit over 63 lbs according to the specs so I can pick it up to move it if necessary, whereas with my old Ridgid I'd need ramps if I wanted to put it in my truck. All in all it's a great machine. I bought it because I was confident in the Westinghouse brand because several years ago I bought a Westinghouse portable generator which has never let me down, and because of all the positive reviews of other owners. ... show more

Started right up and we started blasting away Dirt off of our concrete! Very easy to assemble. Durability will test in more time. Easily cleans a two story house. Love the price and wheels are rubber and roll very well once the tires are aired up!

  • Very good pressure washer at a great price.
Style: Undercarriage Cleaner/Water Broom
Minimal assembly required right out of the box. Very well written, easy to understand user manual. After adding oil and gas it started on the 2nd pull. Tested very well with all nozzles. Easy to move around with an average noise level.

  • Works just fine
Style: Undercarriage Cleaner/Water Broom
So far so good, easy to assemble and start it right up. Washed my truck with it, and it was twice as much water and twice as much power, which was very nice.
