This is a wonderful axe for sure, I merely checked the neck, very straight indeed. Just needed a little lemon oil, neck was a bit dry along with head stock. I adjusted the string height and I was ready to Rock, and I did! I am very satisfied with my purchase. I actually own several West Creek guitars and each one is amazing, I Love their necks with binding they are so fluid and feel so great. Good job West Creek! Can't wait to see what's next with these guys! ... show more

  • Hard to put down

Best guitar for the best price. I have 15 guitars, most of witch I have purchased on line at Amazon. A couple of my guitars are over 40 years old, (and I got them new). This T style guitar is the best of 5 that I have. It is the Fender, PRS, Firefly, etc., that I cannot afford. With the right set up, and Blue Steel 9-42 strings, this guitar plays and stays in tune and plays in tune with other band members. The roasted maple neck is smooth and allows for fast, accurate movement. As with any guitar, you should take it to a magical luthier for setup and intonation. It comes with D'Aderio 110 strings. They are good, but I found them a bit stiff for my kind of plying. If you are looking for a reasonably priced T-style guitar, this is it. ... show more

  • West Creek did it again!
Color: COZY Red
This is the best budget company on Amazon. Smooth frets. A little high if you like that vintage vibe. Neck was straight when I put the tools on it. Between this and the West Creek DC, I could sell my other guitars and still play 1000 seat theaters. To paraphrase Carl Weathers, “Honestly, just new strings, some neck oil, and and just the intonation, and baby you got a stew going!” ... show more

  • Very disappointed/update
Color: COZY Red
I own 2 other Westcreek guitars= incredible value. This guitar is just terrible. Westcreek either needs to quickly turn it's quality control around regarding these fender style guitars OR stick to making Gibson style guitars. What's the problem? Many. 2 tuners skip and couple others are tight turning, truss rod that would not move in either direction unless I forced it which im not going to do Bubbles in the finish, unbuffed areas in the finish, fretboard very very dry and gritty, frets gritty, overall set up out of the box= terrible. Guitar feel doesnt have substance. I spent 20 minutes looking over this guitar shaking my head. Ill hold off on another purchase until things get worked out. Update. Westcreek sent a replacement guitar that was FAR worse than this. Nut not cut properly, there is a crack in the wood on the back of the guitar, burrs on a couple of the saddles that broke 2 strings when I played/bent them AND, the neck is crooked in the pocket of the body! Also, thick wax/dried/leak??? covering the bottom area of the pickups, frets that dont reach the end of the fretboard throughout. I'll stop there. Not sure what is going on where these are being made. ... show more
