I recently tried this body shaper thong under a dress to help hold in my postpartum tummy. While it did offer some support, there were a few drawbacks for me. Being 5'2" with a short torso, the shaper hit me right under the ribs, which made it pretty uncomfortable and caused my ribs to stick out awkwardly. It's advertised as a light/medium hold, and it lives up to that description. If you're looking for a nice snug hold, this might not be the best choice. On the plus side, the material is comfortable and breathable. It’s great for a little extra smoothing, but if you need firmer control, you might want to consider other options. Well, first off you can see the seams if I bend over in the dress, you can see the thong part of it. You can even see it in the front. It really doesn’t add any tummy control maybe smooth any kind of bumps that it. I wanted it to pull in my lower stomach after giving birth and it does not do that at all. I use the sizing chart to get my size. Maybe if I would’ve gotten a size down it would’ve helped some. Even if I would’ve gotten it tighter, though it still wouldn’t have been seamless, which makes it unable for what I wanted it for (A Halloween costume) ... show more
