I had lips and skin removal on my stomach. The doctor’s office put me in XL. I’m 5’9 200 lbs. The straps irritated my shoulders and the legs were tight. The crotch never felt right. So I looked at what else was out there. I ordered this and decided to order one size up. This fits like a dream! The straps are long and much more comfortable. First of all, I havent written a review on anything for a long time because I havent felt compelled to do so...but because I understand how it is to be a woman buying shapewear and needing to rely on reviews to help me decide, I thought I needed to write this review to help anyone who's maybe on the fence on whether to purchase it or not. So... I was kinda skeptical about this faja but OMG I am SOOO glad I bought it! This thing is amazing! It literally holds it all in, back fat...check! Extra stomach fat that never went away from having kids....check! Extra side fat...check! This faja does it all! Not to mention the booty lift! I mean I am literally amazed at the results I get when I get it all cinched and zipped up! I bought an XL, and I am 5'7" 198 lbs with an average torso, big booty and curvy. I would say if I were to lose 10 lbs I'd need a large...but for now the XL is PERFECT! Also....COMFORT! This thing is SUPER DUPER comfortable! Like you know how alot of firm compression shapewear can dig into your skin or be too rigid and feel u comfortable sitting down?!? Well, this thing isn't at all like that! It feels buttery soft and smooth and just holds everything in without constricting your breathing or making your stomach hurt or stabbing you anywhere... The material and everything is definitely quality and well made. I just can't say enough good things about this faja! If I lose weight at some point I will DEFINITELY be buying another one in a smaller size! I had seen mixed reviews on this product and was a bit sceptical, especially when it came to what size I should get, I ended up purchasing a XS mainly from some other reviews I saw. I am 5’2 and 137lbs for reference incase that can help anyone else. I am honestly SHOCKED by how well this works, my main issue I see with these products personally is I have a lot of pouches and hip dips that sometimes they define more, this one does NOT do that. It created a really even waist that I was hoping for! I did take a picture from the side aswell (NO SUCKING IN JUST NATURAL) If I could give a better rating I would, I definitely would recommend this for someone who is looking to have more defined features. 10/10 ... show more

I like the quality of this product. I honestly was able to put it on without any issues. There is no pinching or uncomfortableness wearing it. There is a little bit of tightness around the thighs so I don’t think I would be wearing it with any tight fitting pants, but I can wear it with a dress. Wow, just wow. Lots of details ahead! I went with 3xl after taking close look at size chart. I am 5'10", 275#, size 18/20. Long torso, mostly hourglass shape. My trouble spot: I have a lower belly "apron" that is a bunch of loose skin from losing and gaining weight dozens of times over the years. I always wear some sort of compression (even if just leggings) as the feel of the skin is bothersome. I dont do it for looks, but looking better is a bonus. I still have this issue when I lose weight, that skin is just there. I am surgery adverse, so who knows if I will ever take care of it. Anyway, in the mean time I try more hard core items like this to see how much it makes a difference. WOWZA. When I put it on, I totally looked 20 lbs lighter, and felt it too. Overall I have good body image, maybe more neutral. But the fact that I could slip on a pair of pants and have my body look like how I have it imagined in my mind was awesome. I have had only one other pair of body compression that I liked, and I think I like this more. When I first opened up the package I thought I got a size too big. Then when I started to put it on, I thought maybe I got a size or two too small. Then I worked it into place, and zipped it up. The overall look at every angle was impressive. The aspect about this that stands out (well there are a few) is that under the zip up part are latch hooks. These really hold the material together, then the zipper over the top just really locks it all into position. Excellent compression. The but portion has a supportive, shaping aspect to it. The open bust area keeps the girls from being smashed down. Way better to be able to wear own bra. Material on side give a little natural lift. Shoulder straps are adjustable. Good thing, because I have a long torso, and if they weren't adjustable I would not be able to wear this. As is, I have them set to the max length. The area around armpit doesnt go up as much on me as it will on those with shorter torsos. SO IF YOU HAVE A LONG TORSO, keep this in mind. The addition of adjustable shoulder pads help a lot to distribute strap pressure, and do not impact overall look. Lets talk THIGHS. I have some squishy upper thighs. Products like this are normally a nightmare- thigh material rolls up, or it indents my skin so much that I can only wear with loose clothing. WELL FOR ME, the thigh area is made perfect. The band is wide, and has strong silicone ribbing that effectively grabs the skin yet doesnt dig in. I could use it being a little longer (because I am tall, and the rest of it is impacted by my long torso). BUT, I was able to wear it with a pair of skin tight jeans with NO noticeable indenting. I moved all around, went out to dinner, walked around. No pinching, rolling, bunching. Lets talk BUTT. My bum is pretty shapely (lots of squats), but can always use a little help. This just rounded the cheeks even better than what I normally have. I do have to adjust the seam to make sure it isnt cutting into my cheeks. But once all in place, awe yeh.. look at my bum! Lets talk CROTCH. Sorry yeh, that sounds weird. But I can say that the slit in the crotch area is well done- best I have encountered. I can actually pee without worry of wetting myself. I am normally paranoid of using bathroom with these types of things on, and this is totally doable. Overall- just makes my body better, makes it look and feel like how I have it envisioned in my mind. Allows me to wear SKIN TIGHT well fitted clothing with comfort, ease, and confidence. Keeps my natural shape but enhances it. I still have hour glass figure despite all the compression that could otherwise make me look like a tube of sausage. I still have waistline, still have a butt, but I am smoothed out all over. Comfortable, all considered. I can move in it. I can breathe in it. Feels good to take it off at end of night, but the time wearing it goes nearly unnoticed. Wish it was a little longer for us tall, AND long torso sisters. And so, 5 stars from me. SO far so good, if I experience anything worth sharing I will come back to do so. Maybe I will add pics. ... show more

I have purchased MANY shape wear items over the years from Maidenform to shapelx. This particular item was interesting. So I am currently a size 41 waist 51 hips and 5’1 tall. Chest is 40 C. The thighs fit great I have big thighs. The hips, however, felt really snug and almost like I didn’t have enough fabric to carry over to the buttocks area. The waist fit really well it was snatched, but then under the breast area - the upper back, it was almost like the shape where was too big so my back rolls were more visible, the fabric was almost folding. Overall, the cheeks were more visible due to that feature of the Shapeware. I felt like it did not cover the full extent from top to bottom of the cheeks though. It felt less versatile in the hip area and appeared to be made for for more small waist fat back issues. ... show more
