I am 5’2 and a half and weigh about 120. Been gaining a bit of weight and losing my shape so just wanted to have a waist trainer to suck everything in and train the hour glass shape along with some exercising. I bought a XS based on the short torso option and it probably is a size too small but I manage to hook it in at the largest setting. It really feels firm and secure and helps give you great posture and a little bit of a push up on the boobs as well. Who can complain about that? It is very comfortable and I feel like I can wear it all day. I can’t speak for its effectiveness just yet since I just got it but I’m loving it so far. I let my daughter try it on and she likes it too so I am getting her one as well. Highly recommend! I ordered another waist trainer awhile back which was a bit different from this one. It did not fit me properly and it felt big and loose. Not flattering on at all. I returned it and felt a bit unmotivated to order another one because I was afraid I’d be disappointed again. 1st let me say, as with everything in life, you are going to get out, what you put in. Consistency is key. If you put in ZERO effort to healing your stomach muscles, nutrition, moving your body, paired with consistent, proper use of this waist trainer, I hate to rain on your parade, but you will get ZERO results. It's a Waist Trainer not a Magical MidSection Shrinker😉😁 All that being said.... OMGeese!! I REALLY did start using this puppy back in 2016, bought my 1st XXL and I was PSYCHED the 1st time I put it on because I had HOPE!! I immediately looked slimmer and felt relief from my lower back pain and my severe diastasis!! (If you know diastasis, I had a whole hand--5fingers--of separation and it is HEALED!!) There began my waist training journey, little did I know at that moment, that my decision to start waist training would spiral into an entire health, fitness and nutrition overhaul forever changing my life for the better!! The product itself, I am telling you, I have TRIED THEM ALL🙄🫣 Yianna is above and beyond!! Trust. Multiple times, I've been shopping around on The Zon browsing the newest waist trainers and thought "Oh look, this one is a little less expensive and is a new company, let me try this one".... I ALWAYS come back, kicking my own butt for wasting money and thinking another company could top the OG of waist training companys!! Lol!! The product itself, is very sturdy. It has longevity compared to every other brand I've tried. You won't find better "bang for your buck"!! Depending on how active you are, how your posture is, if you bend "properly" will depend on how much wear you can get out of the steel bones. Eventually they do wear out and form to your body. I am very active and I get *at least* 6 months of daily wear out of my Yianna waist trainer, before it's too worn out and needs replaced. The directions they give (with the waist trainer/on the website/in the pics on The Zon) if followed accurately, will walk you through putting it on and taking it off with ease. I HIGHLY recommend this waist trainer. I am proof!! I went from an XXL to a SMALL!! My posture has been corrected, I've learned portion control with my meals, my diastasis has healed itself, my stomach is FLAT, I feel like a million bucks in my clothing not thinking about muffin tops... Ok, I probably AM thinking about muffin tops, but not MY muffin top😉😂 NGL Chocolate Chocolate Chip Muffin Tops are everything.... Okay... So, I thought the material was a stretchy fabric... No it's thin flexible rubber, I brought an XS because I fit into an XS in shirts and stuff all the time, I measured and everything yet when it came it was kinda tight fitting, however... That's because of my own fault for not reading the description and materials used, but other then that it seems fine! My natural waist is about 28 inches, but I ordered the small and I'm glad that I did. I'm used to Spanx-like shapewear, but this waist trainer did take a bit of getting used to for the first day---mostly due to having to adjust the way I bend and breathe. I've found that it's actually strengthened my breathing by forcing me to consciously take deeper breaths and, consequently, my singing has improved. After about a week on the loosest setting, I noticed the trainer getting loose enough that it would shift around a bit when I moved, so I moved to the next row of hooks. Now, after a week on the second row, the trainer was getting a little loose again, so I'm on the last row, which is surprising to me. I wasn't honestly looking for serious waist reduction, but wanted the back and posture support along with the feeling of wearing a corset. If I find the trainer getting loose enough to move around too much again, I'll have to order the XS. At first, I was concerned about having a reaction to the latex, so I wore a tank top under the trainer. After a couple of days, I tried wearing it without the top and haven't worn one since. The trainer completely alleviates the pain and muscle stiffness from where my bra crosses over my spine(I used to have a lot of soreness and stiffness) and. The trainer also does a great job of supporting the bust(C cup) and my straps no longer dig into my shoulders. I have had a couple of issues with the trainer pressing my underwire into my sternum, but that's typically solved by shifting things around a bit. Another benefit I didn't expect was the relief it provided for my cramping. I typically lay on my stomach or over a pillow when my cramps are bad because I've found the pressure helps. The waist trainer provided constant pressure over my lower abdomen and really helped with my cramps. The only thing I would really change is the overall shape; I wish the waist was a bit more nipped in and the hips more flared. When the trainer was perfect on my waist, it was typically a little tight on the upper hips and a bit loose at the ribs. However, I recognize that this is a one-size fits all and I may be a bit curvier than the average woman.
