Great basher to run around the yard or a course. Plenty fast with a 2S Lipo, and a 3S makes this thing scream. I don't recommend for a young child first starting out, but only because of how fast it is stock. Easily a great vehicle for teens and adults or those younger with experience. My 10 yrs. old son and my husband like this rock crawler. It's nice rc truck. It's holding up pretty good they have fun with it on weekends. It's pretty fast and it does crawl hills and rocks! A+

I have a ton of rc trucks , traxxas,axial,associated, tamiya and I was allways hesitate of buying a redcat...but I'm glad I did. This is a very well put together platform and truck as is, I now have two wendagos and a Gen 8 scout witch is the same chassis,trans ,t case. Great tires . Definitely worth the money. ... show more

I do love my Wendigo it was a great purchase but this is a crazy vehicle and it will break and you will have to upgrade parts. If you run on 2S it's a lot easier to control, 3S is just crazy. It's a very fun vehicle for a basher although I'm thinking about turning mine into a crawler.

This thing is torque monster The power is way to much It’s on its top more than its wheels. I guess it would be fun in certain terrain. It’s built extremely well. steel frame,great suspension, lots of power and great traction. The bad part is it’s unstable and super top heavy. And you definitely can’t crawl with it. ... show more

Extremely fast w 3s 45c 2200mAh battery cant wait to try 3s 120c 2200 mAh. Super fast brushless motor. Wish there was an Axe Edition like the Scout II. I have both and love the Gearing in this Wendigooooo! Controller keeps up in long distances very well. Super strong and durable...construction. You get what you pay for... 5stars ... show more

At this point, I would recommend against purchasing Redcat remote control vehicles. Over several years, I have acquired three of these vehicles. I can't explain why I made the same mistake so many times. The first probably broke due to rough handling by my kid. But the next two... the next two, I believe, reveal poor parts/build quality. They just don't hold up well to very normal wear. Relatively low speed (2S batteries), being careful, the drivetrains shred themselves. Attempting to address these issues, I reached out to Redcat not with the intention of returning the products but to seek guidance on repairs. While replacement parts are available, my interactions with their customer service left me feeling undervalued as a customer, as if my inquiries were more of an imposition than a legitimate request for support. I do not want to dedicate my time to building and rebuilding them and upgrading parts and all the stuff in the enthusiast community that I appreciate but currently don't have time for. Unless you have a deep interest in and time for the hobbyist aspects of RC vehicles, these are probably not the cars for you. ... show more

Great truck all around. But would recommend getting Bead lock wheels. Glue isn’t good on wheels on it I could pop them off by hand great truck tho! Takes a beating
