I ordered the 2 x 100 watt package because the price was unbeatable. After I received the package, I noticed that the cables included are only 2.5mm2 gauge wires. I needed to order a "pig-tail" converter cable with SAE plug so that I could plug these into the side of my travel trailer. the pig-tail I ordered is 10 AWG wire. I was curious what the conversion from 2.5mm2 to AWG would be. Basically, 2.5mm2 gauge is equal to 14 AWG gauge. I'm not so sure that the 20 ft. of 2.5mm2 cable will support the current load from the panels at peak output. The sticker on the panel states Maximum Power Current for one panel is 5.55 amps. Two panels in parallel would be 11.1 amps calculated. At 80% proficiency, I might see 8 to 9 amps output. A 10 amp output (at 12 v) would be 120 watts. The attached chart shows that I would need heavier gauge cable to support that load. ... show more

I'm mechanically inclined but electric scare the bejesus outta me. Bought it literally to learn about solar and if I was able to figure it out, Id put it in my shed. Damn if it don't go together in about 15 minutes. Works so good, I bought a second setup to run my pond pump. Directions are shite like a lot of people say but if you have half a brain like me, you can figure it out easily. 1st setup has been running about 2 mo ths with zero issue, new one is to fresh to say but sure looks to work the same. ... show more

I have not had a chance to use this product yet. I will be using it over Memorial Day weekend on my camper. I can say that I have never had anything shipped so promptly. For me it was shipped out the same day I put the order on Amazon. Price was very good for what I got. I really hope it holds up.

i got the 100 watt not the 200watt like it says. but this is my first solar set. so i can not really say to much. about the product it self. i well say that everything works great and i am happy with what i got. i got this as a low budget starter kit. so i was not wasting money. and i can build from there. but what i got was a sweet nice setup that let me build on to it as i go. it is worth it.. ... show more

The panels are smaller in size and weigh 11 pounds apiece. Used a Renogy Rover MPPT controller that I had already. I bought 4 and wired in parallel. Panels are producing reliable power for a simple off- Grid project.
