It definitely worth the price. I can adjust the height and angle to take the picture. I use this holder to take picture while playing golf to adjust my posture, it does a great job! Also easy to carry, no big in shapes, it can fit in my golf bag as well.

    • Great Stand but Remote Shutter Release Could Be Better
The stand, itself, is generally well made. The only parts that give me pause are the "flimsy-ish" plastic tripod head that accepts gear (camera, light, etc.) or the included gooseneck, and the equally flimsy-ish plastic phone clamp. Other than those, the lightweight aluminum main components (center column, which doubles as a selfie stick, tripod base, and the gooseneck, which seems to be made of steel) are of good quality for light-duty/"home" use, but probably not up to the rigors of ongoing pro use. If used at any height of much more than minimum, use care to be sure the load at the top (phone, light, small camera, etc.) is over one of the tripod legs to minimize the chance of tipping. I deducted a star because the bluetooth remote shutter release does not trip the shutter on my Galaxy S22 Ultra, using the stock camera app in the most recent Android version. Instead, pressing the button on the remote simply zooms the lens in till it hits max, then does nothing. I was able to get the remote shutter release to work with a different camera app, but at the expense of features I wanted to use (that are on the stock app but not the app this release works with). This may or may not be a show stopper but it can definitely lessen the utility and enjoyment of this setup, especially for anyone without a workaround who was counting on being able to use the remote for still shots or video. ... show more

We used it as a stand for our Alexa monitor. It is a perfect replacement duo to replace the 200 dollar popular baby monitor. My husband set it up and he likes it a lot. Baby will arrive in 2 months and hope it will function well and be our money saver

    • Somewhat stable
This is great if you record on your phone! I like that this is tall so you can make videos above you. If you make videos for social media this is a great tool! Setting this up is pretty simple. Just connect the three pieces together. Its not the most compact tripod but I do like that it came with a storage bag to make it easy to store everything together. You will have to disconnect everything to make it fit in the bag. Since this lightweight, it is easy to shake and knock over. The goose neck makes it easy to get a lot of angles. But the weight of your phone may cause some balance issues so take the time to make sure the tripod is balanced that it won't fall over. ... show more

    • VERY versatile and light weight.
This is a light weight but still relatively sturdy tripod that is convenient for taking along during excursions. . Versatile, it can be used as a normal tripod and will accept either an SLR camera or, with the attachment, cell phones up to 3-3/4 inch wide. A fairly strong "gooseneck" is included to allow a myriad of positions to put the camera (however, I would not use it with a full size SLR camera). The center telescoping extension can also be removed to use as an extension/selfie pole. . When broken down it will fit into the included bag making it a convenient 19" X 4-1/2" size which is so much better for carrying than my more robust tripods (which can be a hassle when transporting). . The included Bluetooth remote control was easy to use and linked effortlessly to my two phones and worked flawlessly in both photo and video mode. I tested it out to 60 ft, and it still worked. . The only minor CON is that the latches that lock each telescoping arm segments in place are not adjustable if one were to need to tighten the grip (there is slight slippage with downward forces applied). . While it is not as sturdy and as rigid as a good, more cumbersome tripod, it will do the job for most situations and, is so much more versatile and convenient. If compared to a good tripod I would rate this only 4 stars. However, for its all-around usefulness and portability for use with cell phones I think this is excellent and give 5 stars ... show more

I wasn't sure what to expect with a tripod that could extend up to 7 feet in height. I am looking for a good, stable tripod for some video projects I am about to embark on, and this one looks very much like it will fit the bill nicely. Sporting the now common mountable phone-holder that grips your phone tightly with a spring-loaded arm, the tripod has surprisingly good (not 100% perfect, but VERY good none-the-less) stability reducing sway and mostly keeping the phone in one spot for recording. The base is a good solid mostly metal set of legs that open with a relatively low center, keeping the tripod solidly placed on the ground. The center column has four extenders, each opening and closing with easy to access flip toggles. They hold perfectly allowing for the height to be customized to exacting standards. You can also mount a rigid but flexible bar for positioning the phone in literally any angle you can imagine. I love that this tripod breaks down and reassembled quickly and is so stable. It's a piece of equipment that is confidant and knows what it intends to be used for. ... show more

Full Disclosure: I received this product at no cost for evaluation through Amazon Vine program. This tripod unit has a lot of options. You can use it with or without the gooseneck attachment, mount the phone grip two different ways, use just the pole as a selfie pole (again with our without the gooseneck), etc. The full height extension, with the gooseneck, can be over 7 feet tall. You can use the gooseneck in multiple ways, including for overhead shooting, and for over the top macro work; that's very handy. It comes with a remote trigger, which easily connected to my iPhone 15 through bluetooth, and automatically triggers the shutter release. That is a big plus. My only complaint is that this unit is a bit heavy for what it is, and compared to other stands I have seen. Plus, I think this could have been engineered to have the gooseneck be a retractable feature of the pole itself. That would make it a much more practical tripod stand, and selfie stick as well. ... show more
