I have chronic acid reflux and I've been sleeping on a wedge pillow for years. The problem being it hurts my arms/back/shokders because there is zero support. This is a game changer. Still get the same wedge effect without all the strain. I did have some issues placing it on top of my mattress it kept sliding so I moved it to the bottom and it's been solid ever since, although it was actually softer and more comfortable than my mattress. I wish it would have stayed in place better on top. I'm so happy to be sleeping with my normal pillow and can even sleep on my stomach if I want! I would highly recommend. Great quality.     • Surprising incline, mattress will drift
I like this product-- it's a more dramatic incline than you'd think. I actually need a step stool to get into bed now (I'm 5'5"). I put the wedge under my mattress and it works well, but the issue I end up having with it is that it causes my mattress to shift around so I'm constantly having to shove the mattress back into place. As a result, the gap at the headboard is worse and I lose my pillows more often, so sometimes I end up with a sore neck because of lost pillows in the middle of the night. In terms of getting the incline though, it's very effective and I've had less problems with heartburn since sleeping with it. Imperfect, but definitely helps in the way I'd needed to. Better sleep quality, just a little frustrating to be having to adjust and fix the mattress-- might be better for someone who doesn't toss and turn like I do. Maybe a grippier cover on the wedge would help in future designs? ... show more

The media could not be loaded. As a light sleeper, my husband's snoring has been a constant challenge for me to get a good night's sleep. He doesn't snore very loudly, but even the slightest sound would keep me awake. We have tried different pillows, but nothing seemed to work in the long run. I found myself waking him up several times during the night to stop him from snoring. We were both exhausted. I convinced my husband to give this elevator mattress a try. He said that it felt a bit strange at the beginning, as the topper has a raised area where his head rests, but we were both amazed at the difference it made. He started snoring less, and his breathing became lighter. He also found himself waking up less frequently during the night. I’m very happy with this purchase. I do not like 1/3 or 1/2 bed length wedges because there’s so much of a tendence to scooch down and bend at the waist or higher, which is terrible for your back. Bought this because it tilts the ENTIRE mattress at an angle. Also like that the mattress doesn’t fold halfway down, since the wedge is full length - less wear and tear on your mattress than with a short wedge. So much better than a short wedge. I slept with this, and a cheap 6” foam mattress, for over a year, and recently with a real mattress - each were on top of the wedge. It’s subtle but helps with my reflux. Recently my new mattress, being too soft, was giving me back pain, so I sold it and am waiting for a replacement. Meanwhile I have been sleeping directly on this wedge, with only slats underneath. I’m almost 240lbs. I assumed it would be uncomfortable, especially with the foam under my hip only being around 2” thick, but…. I’ve been comfortably. If all else fails, you can sleep directly on this with nothing else on top or under. Surprised by that. The price felt high when I got it, but it’s been worth it. Will keep this forever! You can just barely see the top of the wedge in the image I attached. The foot end is obscured by this mattress that was new and in process of expanding when I took the pic - but you can see the subtle tilt of the entire mattress. ... show more

Barely slanted when looking at it; doesn’t feel slanted at all when sleeping on it. Slides around quickly. Not even a week in and it’s slid over a foot off the bed (full disclosure: my sheet is long sleeved to stop from being untucked, which helped this topper move more than it normally would). It needs grip or straps to hold it in place- tho I’m not surprised at this as I’ve had this issue with every topper I’ve ever owned. Fairly comfortable at least. ... show more

Recommend by my ENT due to heartburn issues and this has really helped. I put under the mattress so it doesn't feel very different other than the slight incline the wedge provides. Highly recommended if you have heart burn issues at night.
