I installed this in my new GMC truck and it is working great! Smooth button push to open, shuts securely. I do like only one button to open it. I don't have to worry about locking both sides all the time. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because if it is not locked and you are going over an extremely bumpy road, say with deep washboarding on it, the lid will pop open on you. It won't happen if it is locked. As with other black items, it gets very hot in the sun. Keep that in mind as you load it. ... show more

    • Won't stay latched!
I have had Weather Guard boxes for almost 20 years. This is the first one I have ever had a bad thing to say about; but its bad enough to now write this review. Not every time I get to where I am going, but more than half the time. The box lid will be open when I arrive! I can't carry anything of value cause I never know when it is going to be open again. I can guess it is the single latch design, that is the major difference on this box, to why it wont stay closed. Don't buy if you are looking for a reliable tool box! ... show more
