    • Easily one of the BEST dehumidifiers I've ever owned!

This dehumidifier has completely changed my life around. It has been extremely easy to use and has become such a simple part of our routine that it's difficult to live life without it. With a lot of humidity always in our house, it's a power sucker to have the AC constantly turned down to keep us from sweating, and cost us more than we would like, so I decided for one summer to buy this dehumidifier and give it a shot. Within just a few hours I could tell such a massive different in the air quality that we were able to turn our AC OFF with no issue whatsoever. Our power bill dropped sharply and we even sleep loads better thanks to it helping with the moisture in the air. My partner has a hard time sleeping in very moist climates as it causes him to get sick, so he was extremely happy to get a good nights rest for the first time in his life lol. It's a little noisy on the fast setting but on slow you barely notice it and works just as effectively. It sounds and almost feels like a normal fan from the air coming out of the sides. It's also very easy to push around, even on carpeted floors. You never have to pick it up. Unfortunately after a year and a half our lovely new member of the family broke when the coolant pipe ruptured, and after a week of testing to see if we could fix it, was no longer operational. So, I reached out to their customer service to see if there was any way we could troubleshoot it from their side and if there was any possibility we could get a new one sent to us, as I wasn't sure if our warranty was still effective. They are easily one of the BEST customer support teams I have ever had the pleasure of speaking with. Sadie was extremely helpful in helping troubleshoot the issue to see if there was anything we could do, and even with the warranty being expired was willing to help send a brand new one so we could continue using their products. I couldn't be anymore grateful with the way that they handled this situation for me and my partner, and will definitely be looking forward to buying more of their products in the future if I need another one, or even a bigger one!     • I Am Pleasantly Surprised!

I came home one hot and humid Florida summer evening to find a puddle inside my garage due to condensation from my furnace. I purchased this unit and set it up. Followed the directions to let it sit for 24 hrs. When I finally turned it on within a day the humidity in the garage dropped below 50%. It has been working great since then. It is easy to empty the water and there is an option to connect a hose if you want to. It’s REALLY quiet and rolls easily wherever you want to put it. I will update my review in a year.     • Recommended! Would rate a '5' with slight modification to Owner's Manual
Size: 150 Pints with Pump
This product is great... Works well to dehumidify (better than our previous dehumidifier). We have been struggling with trying to maintain a 35-50% RH in our master bedroom for years. This Waykar product worked!! Additionally it's relatively quiet compared to our last dehumidifier. We purchased the 'pump' option with our model. This is quite ingenious because it eliminates having to 'dump' the water basin every day. Getting from 4 to 5. 2 things: 1. Put in the Owner's Manual that when you set up the machine to use the pump feature, it does NOT pump the water Out of the catch basin...rather, it pumps the water out as needed, bypassing the water catch basin and eliminating the need to continuously dump the water out of the basin. Seems like a pretty simple thing, but I had no idea it worked this way. All you have to do is hold the 'pump' button down for 3 seconds and it will activate the continuous pump when needed. 2. The only other things I would recommend is figuring out a way to reducing the 'noise' of the auto-pump when activated. This really is a minor thing...but the pump sounds like someone is gargling in the room... lol. My wife & I both wear silicon earplugs to bed..so no biggy for us. If someone didn't, however, it would probably wake them up or annoy them at the very least. The fact that the system is so efficient with auto adjustments for relative humidity (auto-shut off once that rh is attained), and has a pumping system to eliminate water from the system makes me recommend this product without reservation. ... show more

This dehumidifier was used in our basement and worked flawlessly for a year and a half. A few weeks ago the unit froze up and the humidity reading was way below the ambient range. After consulting the manual and allowing the unit to defrost, it never returned to working order upon plugging in. I consulted the online customer service for Waykar and received a prompt response for suggestions to correct the problem. Unfortunately, the unit was determined to be defective and even out of warranty Waykar has offered to replace or upgrade my defective unit. The dehumidifier was good looking and functioned perfectly. It worked fine until it didn’t but the five star rating is for the company itself that stands behind it’s product. Buy with confidence knowing that Waykar will support it’s customers. ... show more
