This humidifier works great but your supposed to put it about 14-16 inches away from EVERYTHING and I just don’t know where to set it up so that no one walks into it or the dogs don’t knock it over.

The restrictions on using this humidifier were not available at the time of purchase and Amazon won’t allow me to return it. Its instructions say it must be at least 20 inches away from walls, furniture, curtains, everything. It needs daily cleaning and uses distilled or purified water. Not usable in my home. ... show more

I paid for this model. The pros: absolutely quiet nice remote features once filled runs a long time The cons: 1. must use water under 40 degrees or company says it can damage the machine . This info is tucked away in the user manual. Must keep refrigerate water and check temp before filling the tank. I've never seen this with any other cool mist humidifier. In my case, this will not work in the upstairs bedroom. 2. The top portion of the humidifier and bottom portion cannot be secures the two together. They are two towers that sit one on top of the other. You do not want this operating around children or clumsy adults. lol It makes it awkward to move the machine once it is filled. This is a big negative. Rather dangerous. 3. Nearly impossible to read water line, even with violet light background. 4. Nightmare to move unit to sink. The top and bottom are unattached. I tried moving as one piece, holding the bottom up and the smaller upper unit down. What happened? The upper unit unexpected kicked out leaving a huge puddle of water of wood floor! There is a generator and tubing inside This happed on two separate occasion. Cannot afford to ruin the wood floors for a dumb design! 5. Changing rating to 1.5 ... show more
