Received it this morning and couldn't wait to take it out of the box and use it. I have naturally curly hair that is super thick thats been bleached a bunch. I have a curling hair dryer straightening brush that I have been using for well over a year but it never seems to get me as straight as I would like. I've watched videos about how wonderful this item is so....I bought it. I LOVE IT. I'm not a girly girl so hair stuff is not my lane but this was easy enough to use. I was so worried about burning my scalp and my ears bc that's what I've always done with straighteners...lol! I've been left with straight, shiny, smooth not frizzy hair! It gets hot super quick too. The Wavy Talk hair straightener brush is super easy for my tween daughter to use and does a good job straightening her hair. While it’s convenient and beginner-friendly, it’s not as effective as a CHI straightener for sleek, long-lasting results. Still a solid option for the price :)

When I first got this straightener brush, it worked amazing. It got my hair perfectly straight with no bents or anything like that. but after using it for less than a dozen times, it stopped working! I’ve tried multiple outlets (the outlets I’ve tried work for other appliances) and it doesn’t heat up! The lights turn on to indicate the temperature it SHOULD be at, and the negative ion indicator lights work as well, but it doesn’t heat up. I’m really bummed because I got this for Christmas, and it’s only Jan. 21st. I’ve looked in the trouble shooting section in the booklet, and it just says to wait and it will turn on and heat up, but there’s is absolutely no heat. ... show more

I’m not very girly or good at doing blowouts but this thing is amazing and makes it so easy! My hair looks great with this and I can do straight or curls. It also makes it easy to flip my layers and make them standout. Regular straight irons leave my hair looking so flat. This straightens my hair, but keeps the volume. I love it! I purchased this product after seeing something similar on TikTok Shop and watching several videos demonstrating its effectiveness. The Wavytalk was much more affordable than the TikTok product. My hair is naturally straight but frizzy, and it usually takes a while to achieve the smoothness I desire. I have long hair and often use a straightener, which sometimes leaves a burnt smell. Upon using the Wavytalk, I found that it performed adequately on my straight hair. It reduced frizz and added some volume, thanks to its ion option. The device is easy to use, heats up quickly, and doesn't burn if touched. Additionally, it does not leave a bad smell on my hair. What truly impressed me was its performance on my niece's extremely curly hair. She is 7 years old and likes her hair straightened, but it's usually a lengthy process for my sister. I was able to straighten her hair, which had been in braids for two days, within 20 minutes. Normally, it takes over an hour with a standard straightener. While the Wavytalk doesn't work as effectively on my straight hair as it does on my niece's curly hair, I appreciate its ease of use and overall performance. ... show more
