It is important to know that this is a kids camera. If you're expecting super sharp high resolution, this camera is not for you. BUT if you're looking for something to give to your budding photographer, knowing that they will most likely wreck it somehow, this is the way to go. The camera takes pretty decent pictures. The image preview screen doesn't reflect that. The resolution and clarity of the image you see on the screen versus the image you pull from the SD card is different. The little screen doesn't do the image justice. It's much clearer when you look at the pictures on your computer. It's great for the kids to play with underwater. They get a kick out of that! In order to use this camera in the video mode while fishing, it takes too much time to record. You first turn it on then it slowly go to mode and then push another button for video then another to get it to record. It would be nice if it stayed in video mode after turning it off. I bought it for my daughter so she can take pics while we are out and about and she loves this camera and the feature that it can get wet. She has used it in a pool and has had no issue with taking pics during and after pool time.

As long as you didn't try to zoom, flinch, or breathe, this camera gave adequate shots. Otherwise, images were blurred, out of focus, grainy, or simply didn't work. Lighting needed to be perfect, otherwise dull and gloomy. Definitely regret buying this for my trip and should have simply stuck with the camera on my phone. ... show more
