  • Get the larger size
Size: M Color: Boot-002
Love the quality, fit, and price of this orthopedic boot. I wear a men’s size 9.5 and my foot (heel to toe) is 10 and 1/4 inches. According to the sellers size chart medium was the size for me. I didn’t want to gamble on the large size, thinking the inch or so of unneeded sole overhang beyond my toe would be a trip hazard if it got stuck under a throw rug, etc. I’m not saying this chart was wrong as the shoe initially fit perfectly. BUT . . . . I should have purchased the large size. Why? Either the way I wear the boot or the way it’s designed, or both, my big toe starting to hang about an inch beyond the sole of the boot. I figured out why. The boot is designed with a separate insole, which is really comfortable. However in my instance the booth side away from the hard plastic outer boot by over an inch = exactly how much my toe was now poking out. Possible reason why? The second from the top Velcro strap is not attached to any structural piece of the boot. So when I tighten this strap it centers my lower leg to the vertical metal support straps of the boot - and moves the inners sole/and my foot forward 1 inch away from the boot’s heel. No big deal. Tightening all the other straps to almost the point of discomfort seems to hold my food and the inner boot better and most of my toe is within the boot. In sum if you’re in-between the size chart’s medium and large size - get the large. ... show more

  • For the price you pay? It's a overall nice boot!
Size: X-Large Color: Boot-002
I had a over hyper extended ankle and was put in a boot due to my diabetes. It is a well built comfortable boot but it could use a little upgrade on the top velcro straps. They are a pain to take off cause they stick so well and they stick to anything they can! I like the air support to give that extra comfort and support your foot needs. The tread also worked it's way loose but a little extra super glue kept the sole on. ... show more
Reviewed in the United States on April 18, 2024 by Nice boot! Support's your foot and ankle well, the only problem is the velcro straps are a little to long and you have to fight with them taking your foot in and out and the glue is a little weak on the rubber sole. But overall it is a nice built boot.

  • Did not work for me at all
Size: L Color: Boot-002
This thing seems to be of high quality, sturdy, not super heavy. It is also well priced and showed up quickly, which is why I'm giving it 3 stars instead of 1. The reason I am returning it is because it doesn't work for me. I am a size 11.5 foot, and ordered the large. I can't get my foot to work in this thing. If I put the liner and my heel all the way to the back, and my toes fit inside the boot, then the metal support bars are actually too far forward, and strapping the boot down causes them to press on my shins. Painful to walk on. If I slide my foot and the liner forward, line the support bar with my ankle, then it's more supportive and I can walk a little better, but my toes line up to the end of the boot. This leaves them vulnerable to getting stubbed. Also, after wearing it for a little while, the metal support bar then start to dig into my ankle - and the spot where my incision is. (I had PTT and ATFL surgery, so I have stitches on either side of my ankle. Not really the best place to put it, since a lot of the people wearing this will be for ankle issues. I recognize that some of this due to my own circumstance, again why I am leaving them some stars. I have ordered a different boot that looks promising for being more comfortable (a gray one that has a plastic all the way around like an exoskeleton). ... show more

  • Comfortable
Size: Small Color: Boot-002
I am so glad I bought this. My dogs knocked me over and my ankle swelled up and turned black and blue. I think this will help it heal over the weekend so we can go to Florida on Tuesday. I even paid to have it expedited, so worth it.

  • A lifesaver for my broken foot
Size: L Color: Boot-002
About a week before traveling internationally for vacation, I broke three bones in the foot. Walking was very painful, along with being very slow. Not that I would have canceled my long awaited vacation, I was concerned I would be pretty limited on actually walking and enjoying the sites. Almost pain free with this boot. I wear a men’s 10 shoe size, so I ordered the large, which seemed perhaps just a tad too big…however, it’s not as though you want any part of your broken foot unsupported, so I think it was the correct size. The boot comes with a couple of extra pieces of padding, for whatever area you might need, but I found it to be a little too thin when I noticed that different parts of the bottom of my boot were becoming quite sore (the sole of the boot, where your foot rests, has very little padding, probably for design or stability. I, however, added a little bit of my own padding, literally cut pieces of extra carpet foam padding and strategically placed them in areas that needed more cushion. It worked wonders having it. I walked around the UK, saw all the sites I intended to even before breaking my foot, without any trouble and almost zero pain. If you don’t have any, simply go to your local carpet store, buy a foot of foam padding, which is either free as it’s scrap, or spend the $2, insert it, wear the boot, and enjoy being able to walk without too much pain. For me, it was a great investment. ... show more
