The directions were not that difficult to follow, refer to the video in the product images for additional help. Assembly was easy and the shelves look very sleek. At first I was little worried the shelves did not seem stable, but they are actually holding up very well, you just have to trust because no matter how much you tighten there will he some looseness. It comfortably holds up my ps5 slim , switch and controllers. Overall this is an affordable effective and attractive option. The cable management that is included is decent as well but you will have to use other solutions. You can see by my picture I also used cable sleeves but the built in cable holder definitely helps. ... show more

This works great for my mobile TV cart (VIVO STAND-06F). The cart, like most sold today, came with only one heavy particle board shelf. I wanted more, but VIVO no longer sells shelves for this cart so when I saw this WALI system I realized I could have three shelves! Using a 36" x 2" x 3/8" flat aluminum bar from Home Depot ($15), I cut it to 22" length. I drilled holes for the WALI bracket attach points and also the original cart shelving. The latter holes were counter-sunk so the aluminum bar remained flush, like a wall surface onto which the WALI should normally go. A few bolts and nuts ($5) and the job was done (about 5 hours total). The WALI instructions are not great, but the assembly steps seemed rather obvious to me anyway. Some reviews complained about the glass breaking, but some of that may be due to over-tightening the screw that holds the glass in place. I made these screws only finger-tight as their purpose is only to keep the glass from moving horizontally, not to prevent it from rotating laterally. I think a rubber washer between the glass and the screw would be more appropriate than the included plastic one. Other than that, the fit and finish of the WALI system was perfect. I found no flaws nor misaligned parts. Although the system claims to hold quite a bit, I would not risk loading to the maximum. It seems to be more than enough for my Vizio sound bar, Blu-ray player and movies. ... show more

I really do understand the -ve comments for this product. The size is deceiving and it may look wobbly. I put is on sheet rock and not the studs. So let's see how far this goes. Please make sure of the size you want and don't get carried away by the images. I did not have a missing part and the mounts and screws were of good quality. My needs were simple though and I totally loved it for my needs. I needed to find a wall stand for my 2 laptops which then was going thru a KVM switch to my monitor. Really light-weight requirement. My guess is I am going to be touching anything on the stand maybe twice a week, therefore not too much of aggressive handling. Now the installation was easy and straight-forward. If you've ever put a screw in the wall then you could put this on. Even if your base support was not perfectly straight (and mine wasn't) there is a margin of error that the shelf can handle. You can sway the shelf itself by a couple of degrees to make it straight even if the wall mount/support itself was of by a couple of degrees. The shelf itself has a glass-like very impressive appearance. Putting the shelf on was easier. And to be able to hide the wires behind that soft metal mesh within the support was icing on the cake. You cannot make all the wires hide, but you can definitely make it look a little bit organized. The whole thing took about 4 screws to the wall, 6 screws to mount the shelf holder to the support and 3 more screws to attach the shelf to the shelf holder. I was done in about 30 mins. So I was kind of nervous about purchasing it after reading some reviews especially the ones about it shattering and being sensitive but on the contrary i would say the thing is very sturdy, of course you do have to be careful with it but it's not one of those DO NOT TOUCH OR IT'LL BREAK THINGS And it looks really nice in our room... we have a small room so we didnt want to take up room with a TV stand and this was the best way to go... looks amazing and fancy lol so we've been told! holds the xbox pretty well too... now we have ran into it multiple times lol but the grippers the game system has helps it stay on the shelf so its never moved or almost fell or anything also yes ge xbox does stick out a tad but again the way it grips on the material of the shelf we've never been worried with it falling or anything like that... installation was also pretty quick easy and it's a very nice thing that you can adjust the distance between the 2 shelves to your liking whatever they may be and you can hide the cables!!!... very happy with it and my husband loves it too! *we just added the sound bar and still havent gotten around to adjusting it so excuse the unorganized setup ... show more
