I love this clock! For the last 10 years, I’ve used my phone as an alarm clock. However, I don’t like the idea of my phone being so close to my body 24-7, and I’ve always been curious about light-emitting alarm clocks… so I purchased this one after looking at the reviews. The light setting is incredible. You can set how early before your alarm is scheduled for it to start lighting your room. It’s a much gentler way of awakening—BY FAR! Granted, I’m sensitive to light while I sleep (I use blackout curtains at night) so it works great for me. I searched through all of the reviews to see if the added relaxing sounds can also be used for alarm sounds. Alas, the answer is no, and for obvious reasons. (One doesn’t want a relaxing sound as an alarm to pull one out of a relaxed state.) With 8 different alarm tones, though, there’s enough variety for me. Plus, you can change the volume of the alarm, brightness of the light, color of the light, duration of light and snooze….. and there are two different alarm times you can set—I have one for weekdays and one for weekends. I’m still often changing what time I want to awaken, but it’s easy and quick. I can easily do it with the lights off. Anyhow.., there are great features on this clock. My husband and I love the different light settings for the evening. It makes a fabulous reading lamp, as well. Also, a huge plus is that customer service is incredible.     • So many options yet simple to use! Very happy with this alarm clock!
With so many setting options I was reluctant to purchase this alarm clock because I expected it to be very confusing to set up and switch between options. Our family really needed a sunrise alarm clock and sound machine in one device both for my kids to help them fall asleep, as well as myself since I struggle to sleep without some kind of sound to drown out the busy thoughts in my head at bed time but we didn't want to pay twice for the really expensive Phillips version of this kind of clock. I bought two of these and couldn't be more satisfied with them. They are light weight, and extremely easy to setup and use on a daily basis. My kids love the crickets sounds for bedtime and I love the rain or white noise options. The various nightlight options are great and the sunrise effect is bright enough to really feel like the sun is rising in my window. Its truly amazing how effective that feature is with helping to wake us up. The best part is when my toddler goes and hits and fiddles with all the buttons, he never ends up changing any of the settings! It is totally toddler proof! LOL. If I could offer any constructive feedback it would be that one came with slight scratches across the front surface despite it being fantastically packaged but when the device is lit up you can't tell at all so I don't really care about that now. I do wish the dimming settings could go even a couple of options lower for when I use it for my kids since its still a bit bright for my preference even on the lowest setting. I love the crackling light effect. And we were def looking for the abilitly to have the night light on a timer. You can also have two different alarm times so my husband can wake up on a different timing then me. The media could not be loaded. I looked at and researched a LOT of these types of wake up alarm lights from ones over $200 to the lower end like this one. I watched videos on YouTube and read reviews on them all. I really was not expecting this light to be as nice as it is. PROS: - Instructions are detailed and clear. - EASY to use. In just a few minutes I had the time set and both alarms along with the wake up alarm sound and volume, light brightness and the display brightness. - Quality is good. It IS plastic but it doesn’t look or feel cheap. It looks solid and everything is very well made. - Bonus USB port in the back to charge phone or other devices - Charging cord is a USB Type C and comes with the plug - The RGB Light spectrum and aurora colors rotate and flicker as well as offering solid color choices - There is a sleep timer so you can use the mood light as a fall asleep light that auto shuts off based on options from 10 minutes to 8 hours. - The main clock display can be dimmed to multiple levels of brightness or turned off but when the alarm goes off it automatically turns on to a mid-level so you will see the time when you wake up. - The light can be used as a night light and turned on indefinitely - You can set the alarm sound to a radio station - It can be used as a speaker for music you play on your phone - Dual alarms. You can set one for weekdays and another for weekends or one (or both) for everyday and set them for different times. Options include Mon-Friday, Mon-Sun, Sat-Sun. - it has an anti slip base - I can choose what sound I want to wake up to and I can adjust the sound volume I want to wake up to so it isn’t blaring. It does get quite loud if you like or need it to be loud. - The aurora mood light feature is awesome - The mood light can be dimmed and brightened - Can set the fall asleep light to be a night light for babies or kids or even to help you fall asleep - The light is bright!! Good enough for a reading light as long as it’s not too far away from you. - You can set it as a night light and dim it so if you wake up in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom you can click it on and then back off when you are done without waking up your partner. CONS - I wish it had an app so I could download different or new sounds to wake up to. - The alarm sounds are limited. They aren’t bad but I wish there were more. Not many bad things to say. I didn’t want to pay $200 for one of these and this one had pretty much every feature I wanted minus the additional alarm sounds which really how often am I going to change them so I can live with the options it comes with.
