I can’t say enough good things about this trimmer. We bought a poodle, but didn’t want to spend over $1,000 per year on hair cuts, so we researched trimmers. I’ve always been a fan of Wahl products (I supervised the barbershops in a large prison) so I have great faith in them. All the reviews I read on the KM10 were great. It’s very easy to use, it’s way more quiet than I expected. Most of my experience with animal trimmers has been the old style sunbeam sheep shears. Turns out trimming a dog is similar to trimming a sheep. Once the dog realized he could see better when I trimmed around his eyes, he’s much easier to trim. We do little bits every other week and he looks good all the time. The trimmer has already paid for itself. My husband even got it out one day when I wasn’t home and used it on himself. He says it works way better than the wahl clippers I use on his hair. ... show more

I've been using the Wahl KM10 for few years now, and I absolutely LOVE IT! I needed to replace my previous one so I attempted to order another pair with Amazon but my package was delivered to a mailroom unpackaged and completely exposed (based on the pic in my email) which is disappointing! Why was my item not packaged? Why was it left in the mailroom when my delivery was supposed to be password protected? Why didn't the delivery driver follow my delivery instruction and ring the bell upon arrival? I kept seeing in the reviews "cuts like butter". After working on this shih tzu for hours trying to get through his thick coat. I searched diligently and found that the reviews are right. The Ultimate Competition 7F blade worked like a charm on these new clippers freeing up time for face, ears and nails. Halelujah! As far as I noticed the blade did not get hot. Wahl built a great product, but their customer service is terrible. I sent them a simple question via their web site and I never got an answer. Not a very smart way to treat a new customer, especially when you have serious competition in that market.

I have had 5 or 6 cheap sets of clippers, what a waste of money, they never lasted. These are amazing, trimming my Doodle is so easy now and she doesn’t mind at all, super sharp, and I have been able to trim my big 75 pound girl 4 times so far and still not dull, I highly recommend them
