I purchased this neabot Neakasa machine in March 2024. It's been sitting sealed in its box in our living room until I finally opened it today in January 2025 after being attacked by dingleberry markings left all over the living room. Who the culprit was? I dont know. As I have 2 fur BBs with long hair butts. I unpacked the machine and hooked on the clipper. That's it! It was ready to be used. The shaving process was so quick and easy. Kitty butts were trimmed so quickly with all the hairs suctioned into the canister. There was no mess to clean afterward, at all. I should have unpacked this machine and used it earlier. As a diligent pet owner, I recently tried out the Neabot Neakasa P1 Pro Pet Grooming Kit & Vacuum Suction, and I’m here to share my honest thoughts. Let’s dive into the details: Cons: Lack of Fullness Alert: One of the major drawbacks is that this grooming tool doesn’t alert you when it’s full. Imagine this scenario: you’re in the middle of shaving your furry friend, and suddenly, the suction just stops. No warning, no heads-up. It’s particularly frustrating because the clipper tool itself isn’t the quietest, and the abrupt halt in suction can create a very big mess. So holding the pup, keeping her calm, and monitoring the canister is a must. Inadequate for General Space Cleanup: While it excels at pet grooming, it falls short when it comes to cleaning up excess hair in the surrounding space. For everyday tidying, a regular vacuum would be more effective. So, if you’re hoping to tackle both tasks with one device, you might be disappointed. Small Waste Compartment: Now, this is where things get tricky. I have a Great Pyrenees and Anatolian mix, which translates to a whole lot of fur. Unfortunately, the storage compartment for waste isn’t very generous. I found myself emptying it at least six times during a single grooming session. Not ideal for those with large, fur-tastic companions. Pros: Whisper-Quiet Operation: On the bright side, this Neabot model is surprisingly quiet. Unlike some other models I’ve tried, it doesn’t sound like a jet engine taking off. This low noise level made it easier to introduce my anxious puppy to the grooming process without causing undue stress. Lightweight and Portable: The machine’s weight is a definite plus. I could effortlessly carry it from room to room, following my pup’s every move. Whether she decided to explore the living room or hide under the dining table, I was right there with her, thanks to the Neakasa P1 Pro’s portability. This did mean unplugging and replugging the machine in (the cord isn't that long). Versatile Attachments: Now, this is where the Neabot shines. The range of attachments for the clippers is impressive. I’ve tried other models, but none offered such a variety. Among them, my absolute favorite is the clippers and that has me torn about returning the product. Final Verdict: Personally, I’ve decided to return the Neakasa P1 Pro. However, let me be clear: this product deserves five stars for its specialized purpose. It would be phenomenal for small to medium-sized dogs, or even larger dogs with less fur than my fluffball. For reference, I’ve included some post-grooming photos of my pup—she’s looking sleek and fabulous after her monthly bath! But here’s my wishlist for the perfect grooming tool: I need something with all the same features, a larger waste canister, and preferably cordless. Bonus points if it can double as a vacuum for our hardwood floors. As a minimalist, I’m all about efficiency, and having attachments that fit onto a regular vacuum might just be the sweet spot. The media could not be loaded. I have two yorkies and have gone through easily 5 or 6 different electric Clippers to cut their hair in between appointments with the dog haircuttint place. All of those products worked well one time and then no longer cut their hair properly again. They would nick and cut the dogs if they pulled away, the haircuts always came out uneven because you would need to constantly stop cutting hair because the razor will fill with lose hair and you need to stop and clean it out before moving forward. With this product, just the haircutting attachment (it has 4 other uses and attachments) I was able to sit on my kitchen floor on a towel and give both yorkies haircuts in alittle under 30 minutes!! Not only that, the haircut came out perfectly even and smooth. I used only one clip, basically the blending clip (the shortest clip you can use) and never once had to stop to clean out the Clippers of loose hair so that I could continue. The vacuum part, is amazing . It clears out the Clippers so you never have to stop which is super important for anyone of us who has given their dogs haircuts before and knows that when they finally are siting still the last thing you want to do when cutting their hair and have them standing still is to have to stop to clean out the buzzers clip of hair. Another amazing part is the vacuum works so well I literally had one dog on my lap and I didt have any hair on me at all. Only hair that was cut and may have stayed on the dog may have gotten on me, but my floor had nothing on it. And i gave two dogs haircuts. So much so that I had to empty out the vacuum container of all the hair in between dogs because it filled up with all the hair that normally would be all over your floor. It's also really quiet. The Clippers make no noise at all, only the vacuum makes noise, but you can get your dog used to it by first using the deshedding attachment on your dog before using the hair Clippers. Your dog will probably love it as it brushes their hair and pulls all dirt and any debris they may have picked up walking outside. The other attachments are just bonuses, like the one that you use on your clothes to remove hair and lint and it also works amazingly well. I have never groomed a dog before today. I am proud of my first attempt with this machine. I believe results will highly depend on your dogs temperament. It took 3 of us to keep my medium dog calm. The tool worked great and just as advertised. I originally got it to save money and time. My dog would sometimes return with cuts from the buzzer at the groomers so making this change was a good decision. This tool protects the dog from getting cut and is easy to use. You just glide it and it cuts and sucks the hair up at the same time. The suction worked great and it was easy to clean. Cons: Had to stop and empty the container a few times due to its size. If the dogs hair is tangled it won't cut so brush first! It's fairly quiet but the dog is still scared of the buzzing sound. ... show more
