This was not what I was actually expecting I thought it was just thick woven plastic. It’s more of a thin woven plastic with a very thin velvet type backing. I mean it says it’s good 🤷♂️ and last for years who knows but it seems better than the big box store stuff which I have used a ton of in the past and it is reasonably priced. So I bought another one. One criticism “HUGE BOX” way way over the top in fact I would have preferred no box you could fit a small mattress in what they travelled in and it was the same the second time I ordered lucky for me I can recycle the box but be prepared! ... show more

I used this to cover a muddy area under my deck, around 400 square feet. Most of the area too low to be useable, but still needed access. Time will tell how it will suppress weed growth, but it was easy for me to install ( age 67 and female). I used the round 6 inch pins by Sandbaggy to secure. The only thing I didnt like is that everything sticks to it. This is the design - a combination of the woven and non woven materials. The non woven feature is felt like. The area where installed is shady, so not too much sun gets to it. There were some places where the fabric had wrinkled when rolled up, so this made it challenging to get it to lie flat during installation, but I think the wrinkles will eventually flatten out. ... show more

I wasn't expecting a felt feel to both sides, but that is how this comes. It's nearly indistinguishable which side goes up... and likely doesn't matter IMO. I purchased a butane powered hot knife (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07M9ZKK9) to cut the fabric and it works great at keeping the ends from fraying. Can't speak to actual durability yet, but it seems like it should hold up well. The base fabric is like a loose woven really cheap tarp (?) and it has the softer fibers woven into it to help block more light from getting through. Should be durable. We are using some of it bare for walkways between our gardens, that should be a good test of durability. The lines are nice for spacing and cutting. ... show more
