This product was purchased to try and rid my lawn of some horrendous weeds that are common this year where I live. I do not want to spend a fortune so I decided to try this. This cannot be any easier to apply. Just hook up the hose and go. Pay attention, develop a pattern and work backwards. All you have to do is spray to wet the grass. Once it dries you are good. These products do not work immediately. They take several weeks to start the browning and up to a month to completely work. The reason to lose one star is I am going to have to apply a second round because not all the weeds were killed. This is not uncommon. Because this is formulated to not kill the grass, some stubborn weeds are just stunted. I will go and get an even less expensive brand to finish off the job. Keep in mind that spraying this in the wind is going to give you results you didn't want. I also recommend spraying this at least a week or two before you plant any garden plants. Tomatoes are extremely sensitive to this. The finest droplets will cause leaf curl very fast and they may not recover. If applied at the right time this is an effective option. Just be prepared to get a second round because they just aren't formulated that strong. That is ok with me because two doses cost less that half of one month's treatment by a professional. ... show more

Best Weed & Feed price anywhere on the internet, ~$9 per bottle. I bought 3 bottles for my yard which is about 0.4 acres. Unfortunately, one of the bottles leaked during shipping, so i didn't have a full 3 bottles but i did have enough for my entire yard once and a little thicker on the really bad patches of weeds. After about 4 weeks from when i sprayed, it does appear to have worked pretty well. Grass is greener, weeds are few and far between. However, its not perfect, there are still weeds but i anticipated this and i'm going to have to buy another bottle or two to treat the entire yard one more time. I believe i've heard that using this type of treatment, it can take approximately 3-4 years before absolutely everything is eradicated. the one thing that absolutely hacked me off, the hose attachment is super easy to clog with gunk which was in the hose. I wasted at least half an hour while i tried to remove something wedged in the small hole for the water from the hose. wish there was a screen or something to prevent clogs. ... show more

I'll admit I've left my lawn get taken over by weeds during the first two years in our new home. I used spot weed killer but half a bottle didn't even cover the entire front yard. So I tried a shotgun approach with this product. It feeds the grass while killing the weeds. The weeds are turning white and dying off. I ordered two bottles because I didn't know how far this spray would go. One bottle sprays my entire yard (front, back, sides) around my 2400 sq. ft house. I included birdseye's pictures of my house that I hope helps people see how much this can spray. Half my backyard didn't need to be sprayed because it is wooded. It is super easy to use. Pull out the hose, connect, and spray. I sprayed during the evening when it was just at 85 degrees (do not use over this temperature). I didn't water my yard the day before. This weekend the temperature is going down and there is going to be rain and I will use the second bottle to make sure the weeds stay down. The liquid does have a salty smell similar to other weed killers I've used. One thing I did notice was I could smell this days after application when I stepped outside. It has some longevity! Overall, I'm happy. For around $8, it was worth a shot. This product isn't the end all be all. It didn't kill some weeds but it makes it much easier to spot kill weeds now. I don't know if it really fed my grass. We'll see. I'm more concerned with the weeds. It is one weapon in my arsenal against the war on weeds. Pros: Price, Easy to use, Long lasting, Feeds maybe? Cons: Doesn't kill all weeds, Salty smell while and after usage but not too bad ... show more

My yard started off the spring with so many weeds I couldn’t even identify them but there was one in particular and burned to the touch. 24 hours after I sprayed I notice most of the weeds dying particularly try the one to try jat burned. I highly recommend this product.

I am an avid user of Spectracide products so this review is based upon this product and this product alone. My yard is approximately 6,000 Sg ft. I purchased two of these so that I would have one for later on i the season if needed. My front yard was nearly weed free so I spot treated that section. My back yard was pretty heavily infested so I concentrated most of the treatment there. I applied the first bottle as directed and waited approximately two weeks. The results were less than spectacular so I made a second application, quite heavily in my back yard. It has now been three weeks since that second application and about 20% of the weeds have still not died nor are they even giving the appearance of having been treated. I gave the product one stars instead of two because it did kill some weeds but it took multiple applications and still did not do the job. ... show more
