I am very impressed with this optic, especially for the price! I have mainly vortex and holosun optics, but I was looking for something cheaper to slap on my shotgun. This thing is dead on, and I am able to black clay pigeon consistently with zero issues, I did not even need to adjust the zero at all for the circle and dot to be right on, for a shotgun anyway. It has not lost zero after around 300 shotgun blasts, and is still running on the original battery. The shake awake feature works well. I can't say I have abused it, but it feels solid and has been used in light rain no issue. All in all, I am quite impressed and am considering buying another to replace a Sig Romeo, as I prefer the circle dot feature and green color. ... show more

    • Good sight for the price point
In the limited time that I have used this sight It seems robust and holds zero well. It currently sits on a AR-45 PCC. The reticle is bright and clear and adjustable for intensity but I would prefer it to be larger. Overall, a good sight for the money.

Optics are a little blurry but still a good sight. Little heavy but seems sturdy. Easy to work. Wish there was an option to just do green dot. Overall tho pretty good buy

Great sight for the price clear and shake awake is very sensitive. I give the sight and Votatu 5 stars and Amazon 3 because it arrived missing the instruction and tool(box was open).     • durable for my shotguns and holds zero
I fired about 130 rounds (about 50 #7.5 birdshot (1250fps and 1300fps), 50 00-buckshot (1250fps), 30 slugs (1600fps)) in each of my two bullpup shotguns which both use the VOTATU RMD502-EG Green Dot Sight and the sight holds zero and the mount did not get loose. On my M&P 12, I have to put the reticle to the highest point that could be adjusted with the elevation adjustment. I like how this reflex sight lets me keep both eyes open and acquire target easily. I'm not sure how long the battery life will last. ... show more

Buy it, you won’t be disappointed. I think it’s more crisp than my Holosun HE510C Elite green dot for a 1/3 of the price. Has the same green reticle I like with the circle and the dot in the middle which is the one I prefer. It also is automatically shake awake so you don’t have to mess around with the settings because other brands can be really finicky and annoying. Very pleased ... show more
