  • It’s so great that my husband has 34 of them in the basement
Edition: T28 Trojan
The ZHIKE RC Airplane is a fantastic gift for anyone interested in remote control planes, especially for beginners and hobbyists alike! This 4-channel plane, designed with a built-in gyro, is remarkably stable and easy to fly—even for those new to RC flying. My husband found it super engaging and loved how smoothly it handled in the air, with responsive controls that make it easy to perform tricks and navigate. It’s durable enough to withstand some bumps, so it’s perfect for outdoor fun without too much worry. It’s so great that my husband has 34 of them in the basement—just for him! No kidding! If you’re looking for an entertaining and exciting way to spend time outdoors, I highly recommend this plane for both adults and kids! ... show more

  • Remarkable durability
Edition: T28 Trojan
I am a very new flyer and have crashed this model many times (hard!)-i am blown away by the ruggedness of the T-28. I've only broken 1 prop on one of my earliest crashes. The pop-off feature is a lifesaver. Actually very easy to learn to fly, with enough features/agility to still be tricky to learn. But a forgiving trainer as I moved up from a powered glider trainer. I love this little plane! ... show more

  • Durable with great stability control
Edition: F4U Corsair
Bought for my 10 y.o. to learn to fly RC planes. The stability control makes it impossible to over-fly the airplane and he was able to control the plane without issue. It survived quite a few hard crashes and was a lot of fun. After enough crashes the propellers don't stay on and the quick attach mount needs to be changed, but if I recall it comes with a spare propeller and mount. I bought a couple spare propellers which also came with spare propeller mounts, too. After 50 or so hard crashes, the wing broke off and the model was dissected by my boy who found it fun to see what made it tick. ... show more

  • Not beginner friendly despite listing
Edition: F4U Corsair
Bought this plane after messing around with a cheaper plane from a discount store expecting better quality and more fun for the price of 118.49 but was disappointed. First off, plane is very fast and there won’t be a lot of gliding meaning much less room for error. Propellers and propeller mount break very very easily (currently awaiting 3 replacements after 20 minutes of trying to fly this thing) and the motor issues mentioned by other people are real, my friend got the Zero and the motor stopped working after 2 flights. Take the time to find another RC plane this one was not it. ... show more

  • Fascinating and fun trip into yesteryear.
Edition: T28 Trojan
I flew RC with my father-in-law 50 years ago and have some scares to prove it. These are a whole new world. RTF, simple, fun and cheap...did I mention that they are inexpensive? Less than 1/50th the cost per minute of what it was in corrected dollars. Follow the setup instructions, no frequency tags, 6-axis gyro stability, combined 30 minutes of flight time, scale looks and watchers by others in the local park. Son got me one (P51) for 74th b-bay and flew mine so I got him this one (T28). He is virtual game savvy and took to it effortlessly flying circles around old grampa . I’ve read the reviews and frankly you can blow off the negatives. He/they probably had the skill level switch set backwards which is my only complaint. It is not intuitive but if you read the instructions, you realize it is backwards from the arrows on the transmitter. If it is a real problem, return it to Amazon or wherever you bought it. A heads up. The P51 came with the prop on the plane and a spare. The T28 came with 2 spares + 1. The props can and will break. They did 50 years ago. So, buy the plane and buy the package of 4 spare props (Amazon should offer it as an option). But hey? What do I know? I’m just an old guy who likes to have some pretty cheap fun and this did it for me. ... show more

  • This is one FUN plane !
Edition: T28 Trojan
I really love the T-28. This is the most durable plane in my hangar. I would not recommend this plane for first time pilots, but this would be a good second plane. The plane has three modes-Self leveling with low rates, Self leveling with mid rates, and experienced mode. I spend most of my time in the second mode, which provides self leveling and loops and limited rolls. It can fly fast or slow. The transmitter is quite basic but adequate for the task. The range is quite good, as I often fly out to 200+ yards. With some experience, this plane could be flown on a baseball field. The T-28 looks great in the air and is always an attention getter. I rate this plane as a solid 10 in terms of fun, value for the money, and durability. Be sure to purchase a spare pack of props if you plan on flying on grass fields like I do. ... show more

  • It won’t fly
Edition: T28 Trojan
The plane was too expensive for that little styrofoam thing. It doesn’t have an on off switch. I couldn’t get it to fly because the wings and tail are not straight. It just slammed into the ground. I tried it 10 times. It’s crap. I did buy a $40 plane for my son and it flew perfectly.
