  • Holds my Samsung Odyssey G9 well
Style: Classic
I saw a bunch of reviews from people saying this monitor arm didn't work with the Odyssey G9, but after buying it's clear to me that a lot of people just didn't install it properly. You do absolutely have to crank down on the tension screw to keep the monitor from pointing straight down, but I did that once and have had no problems since. For my use case, this arm works great, and it definitely isn't worth buying the twice-as-expensive Ergotron arm. If you're buying this to use with a G9, just baby it a little bit, make sure you hold onto your monitor until you're absolutely sure you've tightened the tension as far as it will go, and you should have no other problems. ... show more

  • Great for my 32im monitor or 49in
Style: Classic + USB
This fixed arm is perfect for my desk. Brings the monitor out and forward at a good angle for my corner desk

  • Hold my Samsung CRG9 but the tilt was rough to mess with
Style: Classic
I put it all together by myself but would definitely recommend having an extra set of hand to either hold the monitor or to tighten the bolts. The arm can for sure support the weight of the Samsung 49" CRG49. My only issue that took me awhile to figure out was the tilt. I'm still feeling a little un easy about it. when I first put the monitor on, it was slowly tilting forward even when I had it tighten down. so I decided to take the monitor it off again and used all my strength to tighten the bolt as hard as I could. now it seems to being to fine but I really had to tighten it down (I even bent the tool that comes with it) you definitely want to find your prefer viewing angle before putting the monitor on/tightening the bolt down. Other than that, compared to the price of the Ergotron I'm at least satisfied it can hold down my monitor and I'm saving more space. Time will tell with how the tilt will work out. ... show more

  • Overall great stand with one gripe
Style: Classic
The stand was overall great and pretty easy to setup. It took me about an hour to set it up and adjust it, partly because I was very scared to damage my Odyssey G9 monitor. It took a lot of tightening on the arm so that it wouldn’t just fall but once tightened all the way it works just fine. The tilt was a bit of a pain to adjust with this monitor because of how heavy and awkwardly shaped it is to hold it in place while tightening the screw on the back but I eventually got it by hugging the monitor in place from the front and tightening it in the back while hugging it up. It took a lot of tightening on this part, you’ll definitely need some force to hold it up. My only real gripe with this stand though is that the single part that the monitor and vesa mount all slides down onto the arm with, that piece is like the only piece of the stand that is just plastic. Maybe I’m missing something but wouldn’t you want the strongest metal to be used at the most critical part? I mean it’s holding it but dang couldn’t they use high quality metal like they did for the rest of the arm?? ... show more

  • Bad screw that doesn't fit so the mount is useless
Style: Classic
The mounting screw'a thread is uneven so it doesn't fit properly as shown in the pictures. Bought it couple of months back and shipped to where I was gonna relocate. I am past the return period so now I am stuck with a useless mount. Very disappointed. Update: contacted customer support and they shipped me a screw replacement. Great experience there. ... show more

  • Handles the 49" Samsung Monster
Style: Classic
I was a little worried based on some of the other reviews, but I've been buying VIVO products for a while now and their instructions state that it will handle the weight. It's pretty close to max though. What I experienced and probably where others fell short. You have to hold the monitor arm horizontally when tightening. Otherwise it won't work. So holding a 30+ lb monitor when you're tightening the screw can be a bit challenging, but it does work. Pros: - Handles my 49" ultrawide just fine - Multiple mounting options - Fairly easy to move around once mounted Cons: - Wish it came pre-tightened to handle a large monitor - Range of motion could be better when having a large monitor in place as it doesn't hold well after moving around a bit - It should come with the USB inserts ... show more

  • Strong enough to hold things up but not level
Style: Classic
This stand is solid. I don't feel like it's going to cause my desk to tip or anything like that. It also holds the monitor up very well once I tightened the arm. My only major complaint is that the tilt doesn't stay tight. If I have it set so that it's just straight up and down it will start to tilt down. The only way to counteract this is to tilt it some up and that seems to hold it in place. It's not my optimal choice but it appears that's the only way to make it stay. ... show more

  • Good Gear
Style: Classic
Adjusting the spring for maintaining firm my 49 inch Odyssey was really challenging, I had to turn the bolt almost 20 times, but at the end works really good and looks fantastic, cable manage are nice, i am a little worried about the plastic attachement in the back... to rotate the monitor angle to look up and down is another challenge as you have to choose the right position and lock in that as it is not mobile, so if you elevate your monitor and hast to look from below has to first regulate the angle secure it and the test it... or viceversa... hope is good explained, and the point is that when one is manipulating this, the plastic attachement is stressed... I try no to play much with that ... show more
