have been using the Viviscal vitamins, shampoo and conditioner faithfully for 4 months and I have seen an amazing difference. A particular medication was causing my hair to fall out, to the point that I had to snake my bathroom sink and the tub every other month. No matter what hair product I used for styling I just couldn't hide my scalp anymore and my hair was terribly thin, brittle, and fell out all over the place. I was so self conscious I felt like all I could see was scalp. I figured what did I have to lose other than some money. I researched hair vitamins and treatments and this one got pretty good reviews. I took the plunge, and wow am I glad I did. Fur months later I look like I have Jennifer Anniston's hair. It's miraculous. I know this stuff is expensive but I'm no longer self conscious and feel good about my hair again. I plan to continue using the vitamins, shampoo, conditioner, and now I'm trying this product as well. I fully expect my hair will continue looking even healthier as the recommended timeframe for results is 4-6 months. If you've tried the products and are discouraged I urge you to stick with it. It truly takes 4-6 months for this stuff to work because the vitamins work from the inside out. A full growth cycle for your hair is 4-6 months so you have to give it time. Get in a routine. I set my vitamins out at night so I don't forget to take them and I pulled my other shampoo & conditioner products out of the shower. I swear by this stuff, and I was skeptical at first. After losing my thyroid to metastatic cancer two years ago, my hair has been a disaster. Anyone who has battles TSH and T4 levels can attest to the havoc it wreaks upon hair, skin, and nails. I have tried dozens of products to alleviate some of the issues with little success. Until now. While this product line doesn’t get to the “root” of the problem (thyroid levels need to be addressed to truly fix “thyroid hair”), it does an amazing job of returning some semblance of life to my once thick, beautiful hair. This stuff made so much of my hair come out I’m afraid to use anything like this ever again horrific u won’t get me to have my whole head come out my hair is already at my waistline the first use was scary they said no need to send back but I’ll be sending it back anyway

I bought this product over a year ago and I would not have believed the difference in my hair. I couldn’t get my hair too grow past my shoulders now it’s halfway down my back and I have new little short hair growing where I had balding spots. I actually take the vitamins too. My son got a haircut on April 1st 2019, the idiot that cut his curly locks was a moron he used something called shears I think. Well the front of his hair looked like he was going bald! He was only 19 I bought the vitamins, shampoo and conditioner for him. His hair is about four inches long on the front now I just started him on it a few months ago! I have been ingesting Viviscal for several months now (a ginger, always had fine hair, but lots of it) and I started noticing my hair was becoming felt thicker, as did my hairdresser. I decided to give Viviscal's shampoo a try, and liked the results. I did not order the conditioner initially, as I have have had good success with Pureology's volume enhancing conditioners. I quickly found the more I used the shampoo, the more I liked the shampoo, I decided I wanted to try Viviscal's conditioner. WOW! I bought the Viviscal shampoo and conditioner because I lost my thyroid and my hair is falling out. Instead of these products helping my hair got knotted while washing and i had to pull it out to get the knots out. It left a tacky sticky feeling on my hair. After using this shampoo and conditioner I had to use my normal shampoo, conditioner, mask and leave in conditioner/detangler to get my hair back to normal. I don't know if this product is some kind of scam but I'm super angry that it did so much damage to my hair. I wasn't able to return it because of the covid outbreak in my area.     • Its fine, but doesn't decrease shedding
As far as a regular shampoo and conditioner, its fine. Left my hair feeling pretty good; lightweight and relatively soft. But it does nothing to help with my shedding from PCOS. It also smells like men's shower products, which doesn't enthuse me.

I used this conditioner the same day I got it. The smell was intolerable and I had to rewash my hair and start over. Be aware that there are many scent additives in the conditioner, many of which cause allergic reactions frequently. The ones I found particularly offensive were, camphor, patchouli, and lavandula (this is not lavender). I do not want to have my hair smell like these things. I am returning this. ... show more
