  • Worked out of the box, and excellent support from VisonTek
Right out of the box, it booted up 4 monitors with three "direct" connection and one through the MiniDP to DVI converter. One or two weeks later, the Mini DP to DVI display failed to be recognized. Swapping the cables around shall boot the dead monitor, but I am capped at 3 monitors in total. I am with the following three monitors now: 1. 1080P via HDMI 2. 2560 x 1440 via DP 3. 2560 x 1080 via DP The fourth one that I would like to boot up is a 1080P monitor with HDMI port. I am trying to work with the Visiontek support, and they have instructed a set of procedures that will take more than 30 minutes to operate: safe-mode uninstalls all AMD drivers, and re-install the newer driver. Will bring the stars back to 5 if the fix shall work. PS: an interesting quote from the support people: "Right off the bat I can tell you this card can output 6x simultaneous displays all at 3840x2160 at 60Hz. It is a productivity card, so it won't be able to run a game at those specs but for typical business use, absolutely." (with minor typos fixed). === Update, 2019-06-30 === The fourth monitor is back online after removing all AMD drivers through an "uninstaller" and running the latest installer. The Chat Support is superb and the problem is solved. Turning the rating from 4 up to 5 again. ... show more

  • Don't listen to the negative reviews... it's EASY to install and use
Don't believe all the negative reviews with complicated pictures and diagrams - this is not rocket science. There are THREE easy steps to get all six monitors working. 1. install the video card in your PC 2. use six (6) active display adapters [VisionTek Mini DisplayPort to HDMI Active Adapter (M/F) - 900636] purchased separately - sucks, but just go order 6 of them and call it a day ... if you can afford a 6-screen display, then you can afford 6 of these adapters - just go buy them 3. plug everything in and run the driver installation CD that comes with the video card, then open display properties in Windows and arrange the screens appropriately ... all done. I had this installed and working in 5 minutes - NO diagrams needed. Easy peasy ... show more

  • good stuff!!!
hi everyone, card seems to be fine and easy to setup. however, you need to know certain things before you decide to purchase this card. It support only 2 Passive connections, if you need extend or add more monitors you must buy Active Display adapters. i have attached connection diagram of my setup. so, the final cost of setup is as follows; 1 x graphic card $ 229 4 x active adapter $29 x 4 = 116 (http://www.amazon.com/VisionTek-Active-DisplayPort-Adapter-900636/dp/B00DYRQXHK/ref=sr_1_1?s=pc&ie=UTF8&qid=1447666365&sr=8-1&keywords=visiontek+900636) 1 x passive adapter $10 1 x passive dvi $0 (included in box) total cost $355 to setup 2 passive and 4 active as per my experience. ... show more

  • Awsome
Awesome video card. A little tricky t get 6 monitors working in away so your mouse flows from one screen to the next in sequence. But once you get it it is flawless. I have seen guys pay 4000 to 5000 for a market trading set up ready to go system. This card makes that a thing of the past..If you trade Forex, stocks, Options or commodities this card is a god sent solution to multiple monitors. I love it and recommend it to any one Good product. I am very happy I bought this. Richard ... show more

  • Works great for me
Amazing for my software development office setup. I haven't tried video games with it. Videos work great, video even slides smoothly from monitor to monitor without glitching or crashing. I remote into several machines and have no issues switch from one remote session to another. Which is redrawing to an 49" ultra wide, two 27" one is curved, two different 24" monitors simultaneously. That is a lot of different drivers for one card to handle. I am impressed with the responsiveness for the price. It's been amazing for me, and even works with Blender. ... show more

  • Works with Pro Presenter but still trying to get audio to work
Works with Pro Presenter using 4 iVANKY Active Mini DisplayPort to HDMI Adapters one to the computer monitor one to the projector for the sanctuary one to the back wall screen and one to the input of the ATEM mini pro for streaming. With propresenter, each output can be set to different placement and size fonts as well as background. Can be used as well with PPT using dynamic wall software. The adapters that come with the card have a feature to screw them into the card for a more secure connection. Since I could not find active mini DP to HDMI with that feature, I made my own see pics. I used a 4-40 3/4 inch long cap screw along with a ½ long spacer and electrical tape. I could have jammed in a thin piece of foam or something instead of the spacer. I put the capscrew through the spacer and taped it to the connector. It is now held in place tight and will not come loose. I installed the CD drivers that came with it and have not tried to download any updates. Audio sounds terrible still trying to trouble shoot. Will update if I fix it. ... show more

  • The best value card I've seen for more than 4 monitors.
I this to activate a wall with four monitors but then I later ended up connecting to with my older monitors as well. It was easy to set up in Linux driver support is good with Debian OS. And it drives in my case 5 4K monitors flawlessly one of the monitors he's half that definition. Please note you need active adapters if you're going to convert from DisplayPort to HDMI it can only support a few passive adapters. But I read that from the reviews and it's true I tried with the passive adapters so I had pre-ordered the correct ones. But I did include to passive adapters in my setup and it was all so flawlessly perhaps the limit will not be seen if you use Mini DisplayPort to full-size DisplayPort cables. I haven't tried gaming but I use it to display information it is my glamour wall for logs and other asset critical information. In this role it is a perfect card. ... show more
