It has a ledge on the top that says you can use it for cell phones, however I prefer to use it for wipes. Either way after looking at over 40 this is the one I chose and I am happy with my choice. I had read a review that some of them flipped over when trying to tear the paper. I have to say I had doubts when I opened the box. After assembly, though, it feels solid, and is heavy enough to stay planted when removing tissue. All the parts screwed together securely and straight. The top box is just a plain sheet metal box, but made well with no sharp edges and has a good paint job (matte black). Not fancy, but functional. Our previous fixture was old and rusting, and this looked like a suitable replacement, complete with a space for extra rolls and a tissue box. The platform is a little small for a rectangular tissue box, but we make do. The longest post that holds the paper does feel a little shaky, even though the screws are tightened as far as they'll go. I like this in theory for all the same reasons everyone else does— space saving, looks presentable in every bathroom, etc. However… 1- the top shelf is too small to fit anything useful. I’d love to use it for tissues or wipes, but no dice. 2- here’s the big one: it’s just plain wobbly. Assembly’s easy and I made sure everything was tightened, and none of the joints are loose or wiggly. It’s just the shape— tall without enough weight on the bottom to stabilize it.
